was good for the 1 year I had it but its ok
Its a 2007 and its 2020 now, the car is old and it defiantly served a good life im sure, but the transition is going on my now so im looking for new, one of the seals were bad and before i could notice anything i had too low transition fluid and it caused some longer term damages. Other than that the car was really goo for what i paid for it and it served me well. I loved the roll up windows lol. If you buy one of these or any car especially this old just keep on top of checking fluid levels and repair when needed, under the hood and body

Most reliable car I've owned for over 10 years.
This car met all my needs. Well worth the investment. Great on gas and very easy to maintain. Runs well and strong for age and miles it has.

Not what I expected
When my grandparents told me they bought me a Ford Focus, I was honestly a bit.. hesitant. They're infamously known for their faulty transmissions, among other things. It's definitely not a flashy car, but I could care less if it was. This car is the most reliable thing I've ever driven. From icey roads to scorching summers, this car (going on 160,000 miles on it by the way) has never once had an issue. Not once. Not with the transmission, not with anything. Like I said, most reliable car I've ever driven with a likeable personality.

Thing won’t die
Currently at 230,000 on it and the little engine keeps running. I was given this car a while back and only wanted to keep it until I could afford another vehicle. Only one oil change a year, and the engine unfortunately still runs great. Around 217k miles the radiator blew. But that was a simple fix. Next was the coolant reservoir, again super simple swap. I’m trying to let this car go but it’s growing on me. The door ajar indicator light was on for a long time, didn’t find the reason until a cop pulled me over because the third brake light was out. The electrical wires in the trunk apparently all split from the constant opening and closing of the trunk. 10 dollar fix. The focus does have bad road noise. The key shattered in my hand, so now the chip is duck taped to the steering column. Honestly if you know someone who is willing to deal with crap, this car is for them. It won’t win a race. It won’t woo the ladies. But it also won’t die. Gas pedal would stick on cold mornings but cleaned out the throttle body, and it breathes just fine now. I recommend this for a Freshman in college. It will take a beating but also show them how to do minor repairs on a car.

It’s a great Car, She has taken care of Me.
I have a 2007 focus. It currently has 357,000 miles on it. I have had occasional minor issues (altenator, brakes, shocks, motor mounts.) I drive about 850 miles per week....She has driven beyond my expectations. Am going for 500,000 plus miles.

I have owned 5 of these cars, for good reason too!
Lets face it, this is not a high end/luxury car. It is reliable, low cost transportation good for young drivers, commuters, an extra car, or your main staple. I have owned 5 of these and will continue to go back to them if available. I have not owned a post 2012 version with the auto tranny.
