Best car I?ve ever owned
I have owned Acura?s, Honda?s, Nissan, Toyota, Mazda, Infinity, Lexus, But I must admit it Ford really meet all my needs with the 2013 Ford Focus. For example gas saver, comfortable, and fast is what I always looked for in a car. If you are thinking of buying a Focus ST, BUY THE FOCUS ST. If you are like me have a full time job and goes to college. Consider buying a used one owner Focus ST with low miles. Honestly I love my Focus ST so does my family and friends. The Focus ST is worth your money trust me and all the other reviews.

Exciting daily driver
Awesome car to daily drive. Not ideal for stop and go traffic as the clutch prefers being let out quickly. It's hard to not drive aggressively. I had the Tangerine Scream with the ST3 package and I had it for just over 20,000 miles. Loved that the Recaro seats. They were a little stiff in the legs for drives over 2 hours but my back has never felt so good after drives that long in any other car. Had Blizzaks on for the winter months and the car was amazing in the snow. Highly recommend to anyone that wants a fun car but needs the practicality of 4 doors and a hatch.

This is not a regular car!
If you are looking at a ST and thinking about buying one. here's something that you should be aware of. This car is not smooth. The ride is stiff but that is why it is so much fun. This car handles well, take it to a track and you will see. This car can be modified but it does not mean that you should do it. It is reliable-ish. Play it safe. This car is for fun while having a function as a daily driver. BUY IT!

2013 focus ST is by far the best car i've owned!
The focus ST is a v4 with a turbo pushing an astonishing 252 horsepower FWD hatch back. upgrades and tunes are fairly easy and cheap to do. If you do buy one make sure it has the RECARO seats, they make the car look and feel much more sporty. But they are a little uncomfortable after a 3-4 hour drive. I'm currently running a stage 1 tune through COBB, MBRP exhaust, turbo smart blow off valve. running at 290 horsepower and 310 lbs of torque.

Excellent, fun vehicle, but be wary of reliability
I owned this car for a year, and it was a blast to own. I autocrossed it once during this time, and it performed very well. However, there are some things to consider if you are looking into one of these: 1. It is NOT comfortable. ESPECIALLY if you get the Recaro seats. They are very snug for a bigger guy like me, and the car itself is very stiff, and unforgiving from a comfort perspective. 2. It is only available with a manual transmission. For me, this was perfect and it served me well as my first manual car. But be aware of this if you are considering one, a manual in stop and go traffic can get old unless you just absolutely love shifting your own gears. 3. Reliability can be a concern. LSPI is something you should investigate thoroughly before purchasing any direct injection turbocharged vehicle. In addition, my ST had the 3rd gear syncro in the transmission go out, which required an entire replacement (covered by warranty, thankfully). This is a moderately common issue on the ST in general, especially on the 13 and 14 models, so be aware and pay very close attention to how a used one is shifting. If it grinds or pops out of third even slightly, stay clear. 4. Interior room is not great. Backseat legroom is pretty poor. Some would lead you to believe this is a great car for the person who wants the best of both worlds, a "fun practical car" but be warned; practical is a relative term, and this car is not practical compared to mid-size sedans or even other sporty hatches in this price range. Interior layout is much improved in the '15 and up years, so try to find one of those (looks are subjective though, and many prefer the 13 and 14 body style, so be aware that the interior is not as refined in one of those) Overall, if you want a decently practical, fun car, the Focus ST might be right for you. But be sure and take all of the drawbacks of this vehicle into consideration, especially if you need it to be more than just a fun daily driver.

Never had more problems
Have had issues with this car's transmission and clutch since the day it was purchased. The seats are not comfortable on long rides. Gas mileage is around 31mpg, only plus.
