First new car in 20 years

It's been a long time since I purchased a new car, usually opting for a recycled ride to save a few $. I was a little exhausted from replacing water pumps, fuel regulators, head gaskets, etc, so decided to buy new. I work with several OE's and decided to buy Ford, because I repect their development process. Very satisfied with the purchase. Its practical, but very fun to drive. Even fits 3 boys adequately in the back seat. I recommend the base seats over the recaros, because the latter are quite restricting.

Performance, styling and over 30 mpg hwy

I wanted mpg, already had a veh I ordered 2yr ago that is attractive and lots of luxury and other options (a loaded f-150) never expected I'd be able to own another new performance vehicle. This thing is a Hoot,Recaro seats,an interior actually designed to let you hear the turbo etc more acceleration than vehicles costing 3x more.Quick tight handling and for less than $1k I have parts of the dash and wheels that match up w/the race red ST badges on the seats and exterior. Tangerine Scream is an apt name for the metal flake .I see why European's are into mini racing "Hatches".Drive one hard and try and keep the grin off your face

Best Car I've Owned!

The Recaro seats are really comfortable, leather is great quality. The car has a turbo therefore it gets you where you want to be quickly and has a great 6 speed manual gear box. The exterior is agressive and stylish, not your average Focus. The interior is modern and SYNC is amazing. I got a great deal on my ST3 for 6k less than asking, couldn't be happier. My car prior to this was a 10 year old 2003 Focus. It was a tank and I expect the reliabilty I had with it from my new Ford addition.

Ford Focus

As I told the salesperson, Karen,my 9 year old car went from 0 to 60 in a half hour. It was time for a new car. My initial purchase was going to be a Fiesta. However, once I drove the Focus, I had to have it. The handling and interior size made me feel safer and more comfortable. I love my new ride especially the metallic blue finish. Nice product Ford. And thanks to all the people at Liberty Ford in Vermillion. We all had a great day together.

Fun for the Money

Without a doubt, the best handling front wheel drive hot hatch on the market. Ford has done an amazing job of reducing both the torque steer and the understeer that plague this type of high torque, front drive vehicle. A fun, every day driver that offers performance equal to, or better than the competition, and at the same time is more comfortable, better riding, far better looking and more nicely appointed. Well done, Ford.

Great Car For The Money

Very fun to drive. The six speed shifts easy and the gas mileage is in the 20's depending on how you drive. In town, I can get mid-20's if I take it easy. Don't judge this car until you drive one.

Wow. Ford has impressed me.

I needed a rental car for a couple of days, and wow was I blown over by how much this ford focus hatchback has offered. First of all, I am not a Ford girl, but this car has made me think Ford over. This car has lights above the door handles and around the cup holders at night. It tells you how far you gone, what your estimated mpg is, what maintenance needs to be done, it automatically locks it self when you start the car, has keyless entry, handles well on the road, etc. I am really considering getting this car. Kudos Ford for stepping it up a notch!

Great every day performance with great mileage

This sleeper of a car provides all of the thrill of an M 3 at an affordable price. Pick up, shifting and acceleration are SMOOTH, cornering and tighness of steering is the best I have ever experienced. You can drive it hard all day and still get 22 MPG. Highway cruising approached 30MPG, but my led foot keeps it from happenning. RECAROs are worth the price! Can still make trips to Home Depot and just fold down the seats. Only down side is that impact with pot holes in NYC driving is harsher than expected.

2013 Focus ST - Silver

Ok. Picked out this car a month ago. It's sn ST3 version, with the leather Recaros, xenon lights, etc. I had a 2007 Honda Civic SI Sedan before this. NO COMPARISON. This car is amazing. Low end grunt until the turbo rips. Corners flat, stable and you can actually play with the back slide oversteer. The build quality at a little over 1000 miles appears to be excellent. I am so impressed with this piece of Ford engineering I could not begin to highlight all of the good things. If you think you are looking for the ulrimate commuter/long haul economical starship, look no further. I LOVE THIS CAR. PERIOD.
