2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid consumer reviews

I like the car as far as comfort, style and gas mileage (it's a hybrid so there are not too many affordable choices), but I've already had to replace the transmission and rear braking system, which left me and the family stranded (the brakes locked completely with the slightest touch of the brake pedal). Luckily the car was still under warranty, but we are talking problems at 35K miles and 50K. I'm not confident of its future. I was also disappointed and misinformed about the electrical plug in the back. I was told it could handle a computer - it doesn't. Took it to the shop 3 times to replace the fuse and I finally demanded a resolution and the mechanic looks up the specs and it doesn't handle the voltage of a computer - what? A standard plug kind of implies you can plug in electronics. I have to say if I had all the money in the world I would buy something else, but I'm sort of stuck. It is a pretty car and I like the size. Final negative things. I wish the front passenger seat could raise up like the driver's seat. If you are short you can't see over the dash. To update the Navigation it's $149 and the map was out of date when I bought the car new in 2015. Several streets and towns that have been around 100 years are not registered. Still using my phone for GPS sadly. I do like the bluebooth sound system that allows me to stream music from my phone, but speakers produce rather average sound quality. I wish there were more USB ports in the front for phone/ipad charging.

This is a car with style. Good performance and great fuel economy. It has an abundance of options standard. I would suggest this car for most life styles.

This is a beautiful and economic car. I always tell anyone who asks, and I get asked a lot, that I love my car. I also receive compliments on how beautiful it is. Hybrids cost a few thousand dollars more, but they are worth it.

Very well built, easy on the eyes, beautiful car with excellent gas mileage. Not to mentioned very reasonable price and easy to maintain. I highly recommend it.

Went with the hybrid for long commutes. Love the comfort and style of the car. Our only complaint is an incredibly loud turn signal with no way to adjust it.

I love this car, every time my friends were in it, they compliment how nice my car is. It's very quiet when driving so you can have the music at normal volumes and still carry on conversations with your passengers without raising your voice. I usually only had to fill up on gas once every two weeks with my commute and pleasure driving. This is my primary car. Lots of room and leg space, even in the backseat. Handles well in all weather except in 3+ inches of snow.

A good value hybrid providing excellent fuel efficiency. Competitive styling and functionality. Adequate trunk space, 50% more than the Fusion Energi. Low profile reminiscent of more expensive vehicles.

Consistently reliable, comfortable, average 39 mpg, Bought new in 2014 and still love it. A couple strange hiccups with the touch screen but fixed itself. Love the styling.

JJ Suk took us through the process of purchasing a used car from the time we met him, until the time we pulled off the lot with our Fusion Hybrid. He was very easy going and never pressured us once. (I hate pressure guys). JJ was unique. We just got the feeling he was really concerned about getting us the right car, and when all was said and done, he did. He was with us all the way. He had answers for our questions before we even asked them. (example: "JJ, we need a second set of keys." He had them in his hand and gave them to us. "JJ, there's no owners manual in the glove box." He had already marked it down to have one sent to us.) An excellent salesman, who just made things very easy and nice for us to purchase our car. He explained everything about the technology inside the car, and we felt like we could operate most of the "techy" things when we left the lot. JJ Suk is a great model for the Keller Bros. dealership. He's positive and makes you feel at home. I'd buy another car from him in a minute, trusting his judgement and suggestions.
