I bought a 2007 Ford Mustang GT coupe speed manual with 50k miles on it, one owner, light blue with the performance package (optional $100 3.73 gears from the factory) and appearance package for the engine and hood of car, cloth interior. I had cross shopped it with the 2004/2005 Pontiac GTO as well as the 2005+ Mitsubishi Eclipse GT. The Mustang met my needs best and was the best deal. This car never ever let me down no matter how hard I drove it. Took regular gas which is a huge plus. The 300HP rating was a bit weak for a V8 but the 320lb.ftTQ made up for it. Stock performance wise it ran 0-60 in 5.0-5.2s and the quarter mile in 13.6-13.9@100-105mph (Car&Driver/MotorTrend) depending on the driver. I beat many Nissan 350Zs and Turbo 200SXs, G35s, 90s Audi S4s etc. The 4.6L V8 is easy to work on and it sounds great. Comfort was mixed. The seats were great for short/mid distances but would hurt my back on 5+ hour trips. AC and heat were reliably good. Rear seats were comfortable for shorter people and even taller friends didn't mind it even on longer trips. I had the base sound system with in disc CD player and found it beyond adequate (the bigger system just adds weight). I got 15mpg around town and 20-25 hwy but that all depended on how I drove it. Overall I'd get another if it was a good deal. I'd also recommend it to anyone who already knows how to handle RWD power.

LOVE IT
Purchased from the original owner with 5,400 miles 5 years ago. It is still new! Love car, only driven in the summer when I can have the top down. If you get a chance to buy a good one, don't pass it up! Excellent enjoyable car for the money.

Most Comfortable and Powerful Mustang I've Ever Ow
This is the fifth Mustang I have owned. This is the most comfortable and powerful Mustaing yet, for me. The exterior styling is to live for! This pony loves to run. Frankly, I have to consciously remember to rein it in! The ride is very smooth, given that it's supposed to be a muscle car. I do have a few nit-picking cons, however. First, the cup holders are directly behind the shifter, and the cup of soda interferes with my shifting. Second, the faux leather door panels are starting to come loose. They will have to be replaced eventually. Third, when you flip the visors back, the ceiling of the car makes a hollow metallic sound. Not what you would expect from a "quality" car. Similarly, the trunk lid makes a hollow sound when closed. Whatever happened to the solid "thunk!" sound you should be expecting? (The trunk lid on my 2002 Mustang made a nice, reassuring solid sound.) Overall, however, the 2007 Mustang is my favorite car to date. It's loads of fun to drive, has lots of power, and is generally very comfortable to ride in. I expect to get many years of solid use and enjoyment out of it!

Most reliable car I've owned
13 years old, and I replaced the Alternator. Once. (I don't count brake pads, which are around every 30k miles or so?). Quiet as a sewing machine when idling and looks nearly showroom new.

Fun car to drive like you stole it.
The 07 Mustang is a car you love or hate. It has issues, can't fill up on fuel when your tank is more than a quarter full, caused by the saddle style fuel tank. Leaky body panels that let water in to the interior and trunk. A few other niggly little issues that aren't worth mentioning. I will say with those issues aside, this car is fun to drive. Doesn't get horrible gas mileage for a V8, 22-26 mpg combined. It gets some stares and oohs and ahhs. The Police pay extra attention to you as well. When the top is down and the weather is right, there is almost a zen feeling when you hear the exhaust burble and grunt it's low towned growl. Acceleration is acceptable for me. I'm no drag racer, but it's certainly fast enough for me, and could easily burn the rear tires off in a few thousand miles. (Can't afford that). All in all, If it isn't a daily driver for you, I would definitely recommend a GT Convertible. Also, it's a good idea to store it in a garage if you can.
