258,000 miles and still running, the v6 4L extended cab
258,000 miles and still running, the v6 4L extended cab still works great! New battery and a fluids top up and it runs amazing, it was sitting for a year and it cranked immediately. The manual is fun, and the features are amazing for how old it is. Electric windows, and electric rear view are some of the features. And there is always a hiding spot in that truck! I recently found around 5 hidden storage spaces just inside the cab!

Best Ford Ranger Ever
I've had my 94 Ford ranger for awhile now. This truck is an absolute tank, I've drove through mud holes deeper than my tires and still made it out. I have the 3.0L V6 parked with the 4 speed and 1 highway gear, with the regular cab. The only part that I've replaced in the last 5 years is the driveshaft. Which all things considered, it's the same driveshaft the truck came off the lot with in 1994. It was never changed, and it just now broke the U-joints. The truck has 116,000 miles and never left me stranded.

1994 Ford Ranger is still cool!
Remember, this truck is 28 years old. No airbag, stick shift, manual locks and windows, etc. However, it’s built well, it’s fun to drive, and it’s a nice looking truck. It’s in the top 10 of all Ranger models built.

Most Reliable Truck
I bought this Ranger 2.3L new in 1994. Now I have 360K miles with original engine and transmission. No major issues throughout the years, just regular maintenance. The car has its 3rd water-pump, 3rd timing belt, 2nd clutch, and many many oil changes LOL. Still gets 25MPG. The parts are very cheap for this model. 100% Satisfactory, 100% Recommendation...

Its actually a truck, and can be used as such
I have a 1994 ford ranger splash reg cab with the 4.0L, 3.73 limited slip diff, and a few mods. Exhaust has been changed, has 3" body and 2" suspension lift and 33x12.50 tires. This truck hasn't been without its problems, but its over 20 years old and has had a rough life. Blew my fuel pump going through 2-3 feet of snow(yes I was stuck), clutch blown when I bought it, heater fan failed in -40 temp, but I beat this truck, almost as much as the person before beat it. It tows 4000lb boat at highway speeds up 8% grades like nothing. highway gas mileage is unreal. I cracked the plastic fairing under the bumper, twice, on time on a huge deactivation, and another when I drove through a 6ft snowbank. After 2 years with this truck it is getting better and more reliable everyday. Don't be afraid to use a ranger as a truck.
