What's the word Thunderbird

My 1996 Ford Thunderbird with the 4.6 l V8 is not only comfortable but also has good pep despite having 289,000 MI, engine is dead reliable but the transmission is starting to go out. Once I get a new transmission there is no telling how many mustangs I can beat.

Most reliable and she sure gets the looks yet

I would sell it but like it better then my brand new new that cost me 60000 dollars. Ford motor company made a huge mistake when they stopped making this car.

It's outran every cop this side of Dixie.

For an old model, it's still pretty and comfy. It never gave it's owner much trouble, very dependable. Many people have come up and offer to buy it or maybe they were just hitting on me?

Worst Car Ever

This car was a pain. I spent more money fixing it than what I purchased for it. It spent more time in the mechanic shop than me driving it. Ford has to do better in building there cars. Making them more reliable and dependable for the everyday American. The parts for this car is non-existent and is very expensive to purchase if you can manage to find it. Honestly, it was a terrible car they ever built. Shame on them.

Take care of it and it will take care of you.

Reliable for the most part on long trips. Plenty of power and acceleration when well maintained, as with anything . Durable and enjoyable. a cousin to the mustang so I presume they have a very similar driving experience and part costs are about the same as a similar year model mustang gt, No doubt a favorite amongst real car fanatics. 8/10 for me, not bad as a daily driver but id recommended something with better fuel economy!

One of the easiest to work on.

I bought a 96 thunderbird that had some issues to say the least. I was confindent that with 131k miles it was something minor...and I couldn't have been more right. A simple change of spark plugs and wires had my 96 car running brand new..and it's fast. Easy to work on, fun to drive..I recommend most definitely.
