KOOL CAR; Nothing like rolling the windows down with the stereo blasting some" LED SEPLIN" with the tires squalling and "lookin for adventure or what ever comes my way"!

Best car I have ever owned and am 78 yrs. old.

Bought my '97 LX 4.6L Bird in 2001 with 5500 miles from the second owner. It came off the line 8/96 and still own it with 158,000 miles. I did the wrenching to replace the rad., two window mtrs, brakes, struts, plugs, leads, and ball joints. I tow a 2300 lb travel trailer through the Rockies, to Yellowstone and all over in overdrive on the flat. Always walks the dog no matter what. Highly reliable auto and worth bragging about as a retired mech engr. I stand on it all day long in West Texas without pushing the bottom out. Automatic a/c temp control is the best feature. Sometimes I drive non stop 1350 miles from Houston to my summer home near Green Bay, WI. The seats are the most comfortable plus the sheep skin seat cover being warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Best car I have ever owned and am now 78. Now own a '15 Fusion and a '16 Acadia.

1997 Thunderbird V-6

I bought the 97 Thunderbird brand new to replace my 1985 Thunderbird. I still have the 97 T Bird, now 19 years with 128,000 miles and what a great car. I keep it in the garage so it looks like new and drives like new. One of the best cars you will ever own. I will keep mine until one of us dies first.

Great Car!

I've owned my 1997 Ford Thunderbird 3.8L for 6 months now, and I have to say, it's the best car I've ever driven! When driving this car, weather it be the 3.8L or the 4.6L, you feel like you have power and are actually driving a car! Most cars give the feeling that the car is driving you and that you are just in for the ride, but not this car! It's sporty, with some power. Very comfortable and fun car. Only bad thing is that with the 3.8L models, you have to be careful not to blow a head gasket.

AWESOME 4.6 DOHC

I been a Chevy man all my life until i found my 97LX Limited Edition Ford Thunderbird! I am very pleased with the power and exhilaration of the car but i'm the type of man that likes to play, i always want more so i'm gonna put a G Force Performance Chip in it! All in all i couldn't be more pleased with my T-Bird! I'll never let my car go, i do plan on handing it down to my son! We're going to have alot of father-son-time with the car and i can't wait to get started! I will take the chip out before handing it down to my son! Anybody with this car ,the chip can give it up to 50 more hp and up to 8 mi. more on the gallon.

My favorite

I miss this car. I had a 97 lazer red, v-8, gray leather, sunroof and I have been searching on the internet for another one. The one I like are on the other side of the country. Looking for another lazer red with a v-8.

Old Ford

V8, RWD, IRS, 4WDB. Do that for under $3K with 78k miles ! This is one of the greatest examples of "look deeper into the car. Mostly bought by older women when new. Plenty of low mile examples available. And it get's 25+MPG on the HWY at between 70 and 90 with the a/c on.

Whopper of a car!!!

Check out the "reviews on this car! The Kelly Blue Book does not include the Jasper Engine & Custom Leather Interior or Custom High Performance Dual Exhaust System not to mention the Cherry Bomb Mufflers & the After Market Radio or Mag Wheels. The standard 97 T-Bird whether a v6 or a v8 did not come loaded like this one! The Jasper Engine alone is worth more than the Kelly Blue Book Values. I Love my T-Bird, wish I had this one also!!!

I loved this car

I bought it off the show room floor... I miss it. I have no doubt it would still be running today; if not for the guy that totaled mine when he ran a red light. He hit me in the drivers door doing 40ish and I didnt get a scratch. One of the safest cars I have ever driven. I would recomend this car to anyone. Had the car for 9 years.
