2018 Genesis G80 consumer reviews

I bought a G80 3.3T 2018 I love the car, it’s spacious, comfortable, love the get up and go, love the power and speed. I checked the reviews and they were for the most part very good and I decided to jump. The car has given me a couple of problems, driver side door wouldn’t open and driver side turbo leaking oil. Second guessing my purchase

This car is dependable, stylish, and has a lot of upgraded features for the money. It also has a lot of interior room for front as well as rear seating. It also runs on regular unleaded fuel, which saves money. The standard brakes and suspension are okay, but could be better. The quality of the factory paint could be better as well. I would prefer if it came with a wood steering wheel instead of the standard leather, which tends to wear out quickly. Overall it is a great car.

Lots of interior space and it is beautifully designed. From the second you sit down, the vehicle screams luxury. The panoramic sunroof is lets in lots of natural light and makes the car feel even larger. Controls are right where they need to be and very easy to use. Added plus was the wireless charging pad for my cell phone! This car does more than compete with the Mercedes's and BMW's.....I think it beats them hands down!

Only owned for a few weeks now, but so far the experience is excellent! Lots of different controls to get used to but I would have to say this is a luxury car that competes very well with the more expensive guys. Hyundai really has stepped their game up with the Genesis.

This is a great car that I never had to return to the dealer for anything but service. The vehicle has met and surpassed all of my expectations. It rides and performs like a luxury car. The best car I have ever purchase.

My dream car, drives very smooth, I got the brown interior with black exterior color combination. would recommend the G80 to anyone who is looking for comfort and style in a car.

Loved test driving it. Very nice car. Would have bought it or the 2019 G70 3.3t. If they were asking the price they advertise. It's a shame, guy had already talked me into spending about 15K more them I planned for the G80, but they got greedy and I left after two days of that nonsense. Still searching for a nice car at a fair price.

As a car to drive, I'd give it a 5 out of 5. The electronics are about a 2.5. Bluetooth works fine, but the software is bare bones. You can't do any texting (hear or respond) via voice. GPS look and feel are excellent though. My one performance complaint is very poor turning radius. Otherwise the car is smooth and had plenty of low and high end torque - especially at this price point. My big problem is with service. Cars that cost this much (mine is the 5.0 liter V8 and stickers for $63K and change) always offer great service. Not so with Genesis - where you're still getting Hyundai treatment. Long waits for loners - like weeks, service departments that don't answer the phone, no one knows how the electronics work) and the problem isn't one dealer - I've had the same experience with 3 of them. I like the car and expect that by the time I'm ready for a new one that they'll have worked the electronic toys out. I doubt that I'd buy another unless they initiate a serious restart on their attitude toward service. That's my reason for not recommending this car.

You can't add any options to this car, it comes with every option you could want. Very comfortable, terrific sound system, and the car will flat out fly. You should give one a test drive.

This car was exactly what I was looking for!! It has the BEST safety reviews and you can feel it when you drive it! Has major warranty that no others hold. Plus it is completely full with all the latest and even new features that anyone would want! This car practically drives itself! Best decision ever made!
