2018 Genesis G80 consumer reviews

The G80 3.3T is the best value for a luxury sportscar. All review I've read have the same opinion. A new GS Lexus with the same options would be about $10,000 more.

I've owned mostly German autos, but the Genesis surpasses every one. Drives wonderfully, plenty of power for fun, and looks great. I hate to say value bc its almost a cliche. But it is a value. You will be surprised at what the car has versus what it cost

The ONLY downside of this car is the gas mileage. Combination city and highway....about 20mpg. Really not bad for such a large car. You can spend $10-20K more and buy a Mercedes, BMW or other European car; all of which will have less of a warranty then the Genesis, and the maintenance cost will be about double. This car has a 10yr/100000mi warranty. Ride is outstanding as is the performance. The turbo Sport model is really a great performer for the price.

Genesis really needs to making rear seat charging ports standard. The is my only critique. I do not think I will drive a vehicle made by another company. We had an awful wreck in the first Genesis but kept it because the vehicle never stops going. Zero problems to date even after the wreck. We expect the same quality in Genesis II and look forward to keeping on buying this brand....if we can keep up with the price increases.

Best car ever for the price! You must compare it with more expensive models like BMW, Audi or Mercedes and you will find it compares and is a lot lower in price.

This is the best car l have driven in years. Love all the details about it. The color is amazing, inside and out. Loves the way it hugs the road. I will purchase again.

This is my second Genesis, the luxury is equal to cars that are far more expensive. It has all the bells and whistles, including a great sound system. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a luxury at an affordable price.

Many problems from time of delivery!! Defective windshield they said they would rube out glass with clay, never worked, cracked steering wheel leather, steering would not recover on curves, vibration at speeds above 50mph., B.S. from orig. dealer, replaced steering wheel, all other prob. "could not duplicate". Finally replaced steering rack after I personally drove the car with a tech who finally agreed there was a steering problem Complaints to GENESIS corp. resulted in a call from them to take the car 49.8 miles away for check out of problem . Dealer charged me for wheel bal. but never corrected vibration problem. Genesis Corp. sched. a factory rep to check out prob. at that dealer, he/she told dealer to again replace steering wheel , also to replace windshield and tires. Vibrating still there after TWO tire replacements and windshield still has SAME defect. NOW steering is again acting up as before, it does not recover on curves at times. Where do I go now??? Lemon Law lawyer or find a reputable , knowledgeable GENESIS repair center!!! Original Genesis Corp customer service rep Mr.Khoi Nguyen tried SUPER hard to help me but to no avail!!!!

Still blown away,every week i love the car even more.My G80 sport is fun to drive,cruise control adapts to drving conditions like no otherLove the g80 sport!
