Great POWER and GREAT gas mileage

by mycanyon from Hammond, LA on Fri Aug 11 2006

I have really enjoyed this vehicle. It does everything someone would need a light/medium truck for, and even has the power of a V-6, but with the gas mileage of a 4cyl. I have averaged anywhere from 23-24 miles per gallon.

Exactly what I was wanting

by Arnie7x from on Mon Jun 26 2017

When I was looking for a vehicle to purchase this met everything I was looking for. The truck has served me well for six years now. It handles like a dream and provides plenty of legroom (I am 6'5"). I could not have asked for a better truck.

So far, so good

by Deebenarc from DELAWARE on Sat Dec 23 2017

I really like the simplicity of this truck. Straightforward design and utility. I do have concern at the amount of undercarriage rust there is for so few miles.

Great mid-sized pick-up

by jtvarro from various on Sun Apr 08 2018

I love it. my only complaint is the brake pedal is a little too close to the gas pedal for someone with big feet lie me, especially when wearing heavy winter footwear.

Our Take on the 2004 GMC Canyon

Automakers neglected their small pickups for much of the past decade, concentrating on more profitable fullsize trucks and SUVs. But during the 2004-05 model years, four of the five companies that build compact trucks released fully redesigned models. General Motors got the jump on the field last year with the introduction of the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon. But during the fall of 2004, Dodge introduced a new Dakota, Toyota came out with a new Tacoma and Nissan pulled the wraps off a new Frontier. Ford hasn't shown any indication when the Ranger and Mazda B-Series will be redesigned, but some analysts put the time frame as late as 2009.

All four of the fresh trucks are emphasizing size and power... Read More
