Over 263,000 miles & still going strong...

by 4x4 from NW Washington State on Sat Oct 30 2010

Purchased new and routinely maintained, oil changes, wash & wax, etc. This little truck is classic in style. Always reliable and no major problems at all. I am sure it will make it to 300,00 and still be purring!!! Love it!!!

Sons Sonoma

by SonsSonoma from Denham Springs, LA on Wed Nov 10 2010

I purchased the 94 Sonoma for my son. It is a very nice vehicle for an 18 year old and he loves his truck. He gets good gas mileage and it is the perfect size for him.

by K-Man from Philadelpia Pa on Wed Jun 30 2010

6 cly 5 speed is fun to drive with plenty of power. ez to park plus handle,s small and large light weight load,s perfectly. Still running great at 150,000 miles plus. I,m a big and tall man and fit nicely in regular size cab just fine. Buy one if you have the chance you will love this truck....

Our Take on the 1994 GMC Sonoma

THE GMC Sonoma wouldn't start. Blown fuse. I felt sorry for thelittle truck. All of the neighbors saw it arrive. They were impressed. It was pretty with its slanted front end and end-capped rear bumpers. The paint job, silver and red beneath a clear polyurethane coat, wastops. The interior, the most car-like of any pickup I've driven, wasinviting. But the darned thing died in the driveway.

It didn't just die. It loudly announced its demise. It cranked, wentvarrrooommm. Then pitter-patter, cough, choke. Nothing. Fuel-pump fusefried. No pump action, no fuel. No fuel, no go.

All of which was too bad, because the 1994 GMC Sonoma is one of thebest compact pickup trucks available. But people see... Read More
