Smooth and comfortable

I've had my Accord coupe about a month. Very smooth and comfortable. The 4 cylinder engine has adequate power, but won't win any races. Gas mileage has been a bit disappointing, only about 21 mpg combined so far. The automatic is very smooth. I really wanted a manual transmission with the EX-L package, but couldn't find one in a six-state area. Got a great deal using Overstock.com.

Road noise unbearable

I bought the 2010 EX-V6 in February, 2010. I cannot bear the thought of having to drive this car for four more years. The road noise is absolutely horrible when exceeding 40 mph. This has been a criticism of the Accord for years, yet, Honda seems not to care one bit.

A quality ride at last!

First car outside the original big three I have owned and I have to say it is a fantastic vehicle! I have heard about Honda quality & value for sometime and finally had had enough with poor quality parts & design. I purchased a 2010 Accord EX-L in October '09 and have not regretted it since. This car is the smoothest ride I have ever owned , it handles extremely well and is pretty quiet in the process. The 190hp 4-cyl provides pretty decent power and the fuel mileage is excellent. I find it very comfortable to drive in this car on long trips & the interior is well laid out. Lots of bells & whistles to play with & the sunroof has been a joy to have. I feel that I am finally going to be able to own a vehicle that I am going to love driving & cost me far less in maintenance for quite a few years plus still be worth something when I decide to get another car.

Lots of road noise.

Would buy the v six, if I had it to do over. The gas milage is about twenty-five miles to a gallon. Like the five speed automatic transmission.

Honda Lover

I sincerely love my 2010 4DR Accord LX. There is no doubt Honda is an awesome car maker and definitely goes above and beyond when it comes to customer service. If you are in the market for a stylish, reliable car, look no further.

Solid Vehicle

Purchased an Accord Coupe EX-L/Nav, Auto, 4cy in April 2010. After about three months the vehicle has had no issues. I was very impressed with Honda quality after my wife purchased a new CRV last year and I replaced a 2005 Toyota with this Accord. The differences are truly significant. The Honda seems much more solid. The differences in the build quality and quality of the interior materials between the Honda and the Toyota are noticeable. Also, the Honda is a far more enjoyable drive. I was concerned about getting the 4cy, but it is more than adequate - averaging about 27 mpg in mixed driving, well over 30 mpg on hwy. Driving is very comfortable at speed. The sound system is very, very good. I have not experienced any unusual road noise at any speed. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.

Nice Ride...

I had a Saturn Aura for about 2 years and was in the shop 26 times for various issues ranging from the steering column, to power windows/locks, to the sunroof, and more. I had it up to "here" with it and traded it in for an Accord. I drove quite a few vehicles of all different sizes and styles and couldn't get away from this great deal. It has a lot of trunk room, which is great for all of the stuff I have to haul. But offers up great style in contrast to the functionality. On a recent 6+hr road trip, I got about 35mph! In mixed driving, I get about 25mph. I do think that the cloth gives something to desire (perhaps more of a microfiber, or leatherette in the LX-P). I also think that the grey interior looks slightly nicer than the others because of the two-tone quality. I wish the LX-P offered more variation in upgrades, like automatic lights or a self-dimming rearview mirror. I hope that Honda looks into this when continuing to develop the car. Overall, I have no major complaints. I have not been to the shop for anything yet - even an oil change and I'm up to 5,000 with about 50% oil life left. I feel as though this was a really great buy and will be with me for a long time coming.

Poor Purchase

I bought this Honda after having owned 3 Toyotas since 1989. I now realize I made a big mistake. The car is functional for city driving, but it has an aggravating wind noise on the driver's side as you approach 50 mph. The noise increases as your speed increases. I took the car back to the dealership and they couldn't find a problem. They then test drove another 2010 Accord and it did the same thing. I was told that this happens with the Accord....pretty much have to live with it! I think it may be coming from the door handle.
