Smooth drive and has everything to maneuver around

Affordable, plenty of room and dependable. Has a lot of bells and whistles. Leasing it is a better option for me. Sales staff are very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable of their product

I LOVE THIS CAR

I traded in my 2016 Ford Mustang EcoBoost for this and I'm so glad I did. Everything about this car screams luxury and safety. It was definitely a good decision.

2.o liter turbo with 10 speed automatic. Rocket ship but very driveable. Handles well, quiet, comfortable. Sleek looks, great passenger room, huge trunk (holds 4 golf bags plus!)

Super sporty look, lots of zip, great gas mileage

Love this car!! I got it a month ago. Just went on a 300 mile trip (40.1 mpg). My Accord has lots of zip and is easy to handle. Nice smooth ride. Favorite features are lane departure, warnings of someone in my blind spots, and cruise with being able to automatically stay a car length or more behind the car in front. In city driving, the brake hold feature is awesome! After coming to a stop, you can take your foot off the brake and you stay stopped. To go, just step on the gas. Great for my bad knee. Seats are very comfy, cup holders hold several sizes of bottles, several USB ports, and easy to use buttons on steering wheel. The trunk is surprisingly large for the sleek body. The only thing I am challenged by is the computer system, but It's because there seems to be so much to know, I don't know how to use many of the features. I have had 3 hours of training and need more. My last car had no computer features, so there's a learning curve for me. I'm sure I'll have even more great things to say after I learn how to use more features.

Hondas are it for our family

Just bought it a few days ago. But we are Honda drivers and had no second thoughts about the car we wanted. this one had more leg room both front and back, comfortable seating and smooth drive. Have no doubts that long distance drives will be great and looking forward to using it over the next 10-15 years. Will all the electronics stand up to the wear and tear? Don't know-- we hope so and trust Honda will not let us down.

Lots of Compliments, Lots of Power, Lots of Tricks

I sold my 2003 Accord. The old Accord had the V-6 with leather. So that's what I'm comparing 2018 Accord to. I bought the 2.0 with leather but not the touring model. I've been driving the new Accord for three months and have about 2500 mixed miles on it. So here are some things I've noticed. The styling on the 2018 is much sleeker and much more sporty. The interior is much more refined and even a bit more austere. Some of the things that are gone include the shifter (that's a little hard to get used to) and the emergency brake. The console is much wider and the sitting position feels much lower. The 2018 is a few inches longer than the 2003. Maybe that's what contributes to what seems to me to be a greater turning radius. I especially notice it on u-turns since my daily ride has at least a couple of u-ees in it. I was worried that I wouldn't get enough power in the smaller engine. But if you put the car in the sport mode you can get up to speed pretty quick. We took the car to Lake Tahoe and it did just fine all the way up to the 7200' elevation. (I would NEVER take it in the snow though.) A lot of people say they keep it in the "econo" mode to get the best mileage but it's a lot more fun to drive in the "sport" mode. It has paddle shifters which I've played with a couple of times. But I really don't think you're going to improve on the auto-shifting in the sport mode. WARNING: Do not rely totally on the "lane keeping assist" the variable cruise control or the "collision mitigation braking system". I've put them to the test and I recommend that you use them like you would say, your turn indicators. The lane keeping assist works pretty good when lanes are well marked but it's best to think of it only as a reminder. I also use the variable cruise control a lot but, if you are traveling along at 75 and traffic suddenly stops, you better be prepared to step on the brakes. The dash is very trick. The speedo is totally analogue and the tach is an LED screen. But when you start the car they both look analogue like I was used to looking at. You can add all sorts of data to the tachometer. The info-tainment system works pretty good when you get to know it. I'm still learning. It's pretty big so the back-up camera is pretty big. It has a couple nobs and a few buttons that make it more driver friendly. I don't like the fact that they just kind of glued it to the dashboard. Not very elegant. Another thing I don't like... they reduced the size of the gas tank. It's only 14.5 gallons. I was hoping to have greater range since the mpg's went up. I think it's about the same, maybe less. The car definitely feels a bit roomier. I'm 6'5" and I don't put my seat all the way back or all the way down. And I don't have to move the seat up when someone sits behind me. Another thing I do like is the remote start. It's a little thing but when you live it Sacramento and drive a black car having the A/C on for even a couple of minutes before you get in makes a big difference. I need to wrap-up but wanted to say lastly, I wish I'd bought the touring version. It only has a few extra bells and whistles. I really didn't want the bigger wheels plus I didn't want to spend the extra $2K or so. But when you drive a car almost every day for 10 years or more that's really less than 6-cents a day. Oh, well. Maybe next time.

Fun to Drive!

Adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with automatic braking, and lane departure warning and mitigation are all standard features to the Accord that make it fun to drive.

Back to the best

I was a Honda owner, gave my son the car when he turned 22; then I strayed to other makes and models. I couldn't be happier to back to Honda quality and efficiency.
