Best BANG for my Bucks!

This car is worth every penny mainly because it is very good on gas and the repairs are quite unexpensive.

2005 Honda Civic LX Sedan

Purchased Jan 2007, as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle, with only 15,000 miles. This is my second Honda. (My first was a 1991 Accord LX that I dreove for 300,000 miles!) The Civic is reliable and stingy on gas. Power and throttle response with the automatic have improved as more miles are driven. I like having a car that does not give me any problems!

Finally, a Car I Can Rely On!!

While the Honda Civic is not the most stylish car out there, I have not had a single problem with my 2005 Civic after owning it for 1 1/2 years. Wow, what a difference from vehicles I've owned in the past. It is nice to finally be able to drive and not worry about whether I would have an electrical problem (Volkswagen) or engine problem (Ford). I'll take reliablility over style any day, at least for now!!!

Great car

My Si has 7500 miles on it, so maybe its a little premature to rate on reliability, but based on Honda's past you gotta give it a 5. Only problem I've had was moisture in the headlamps (replaced under warranty). It almost feels like it needs a sixth gear, revving at close to 3 grand at 60 mph, but it still gives me 30-34.5 mpg. It has good power and I rarely have to downshift climbing the hilly roads of western Pennsylvania.

For the Young in Mind

Honda Civic is probably one of the best cars in its class. Driving it gives you that excitement felt when driving a sports car. But, in these days of high gas prices and maintenance costs, Civic is mostly economical and long-run reliable justifying its high resale value.
