2009 Honda Odyssey consumer reviews

This car met all of my need. I seriously mean it, you could accomplish anything you have to finish. All in all this is the best car ever!

Love this vehicle. Only wish we had power doors. Great gas mileage. Easy seat storage. Love all the storage compartments. Room for 3 car seats in the back too!

Okay, I don't usually write product reviews so here is one of the only ones I'll attempt: We've owned our Odyssey since it was new in 2010 and were generally pleased with the overall performance. We got decent fuel economy and had a few issues that were mostly warranty. We followed the factory maintenance schedules on everything including timing belts etc... At 162K the check engine light came on and within 5 miles the engine suffered a catastrophic failure! No knocking, valve chatter, squealing, no indication at all and no warning. Our faith in Honda is shaken.

This is the third Honda Odyssey that we've owned and have loved them. Kids are grown up and we no longer need a van. It could be yours.

This was probably the smoothest driving car I have ever had. When I first got it I thought it would feel too big and bulky but after having it for awhile I couldn?t imagine having anything smaller. It was super comfortable, especially on long cross country trips. Never really had any big problems with the engine. Just your normal upkeep. I would highly recommend a small van to anyone. Doesn?t matter if you have a big family or not. The comfort of a van outweighs the little more you would pay in gas mileage.

We drove all the way to NJ to purchase our second Odyssey. Extremely satisfied. Looking forward to purchasing my next Odyssey.

The navigation is amazing, and a real help for seniors to have, roomy and love the heated seats, great car!

I never thought I'd go from driving an SUV to driving a minivan, but here I am, and I am hooked. The Odyssey has a ton of leg room, a huge amount of storage space, and lots of cool options I'd never had in a car before (backup camera, heated seats, a removable jump seat in the middle row, heat/AC that can be adjusted to different areas of the car, and much more). It's a big vehicle, but it doesn't drive like it's a bulky behemoth; it rides smoothly and has a surprisingly tight turning radius. Honda minivans are a bit more expensive than their American counterparts, but having previously owned a non-Odyssey minivan, I can honestly say you get what you pay for, and it's worth the extra money for a superior product, in my opinion. I am 100% sold on Honda Odysseys now. Highly recommended to schlep kids, sports equipment, or big dogs around town or to go on long trips with the family.

The car fits all my needs, and for long rides it?s perfect. It suits my my family perfect when we travel.

It's the finest mini I've ever owned until I purchased my current Honda minivan. It's been very reliable for me the 23 months that I owned the vehicle. It's been well taken care of and maintained.
