Happy except for windows, locks & especially paint

I bought this car new in June 2003 and still drive it everywhere. It has been extremely reliable. The only problems I've had, other than regular maintenance, are all 4 door locks and a window that quit working, all expensive to repair. Now the paint: the clear coat is peeling off in many places, and the driver side door has become so discolored that it doesn't even look like the rear door right beside it I am very unhappy about this paint problem because I only have 135,000 miles on the car, love it, and want to keep driving it. But now it looks pretty bad.

Best car I've owned

It was my very first car after getting a drivers license. It was 4wd so very good in the snow. I drove it till it had 245,000 miles on it and it would've outlasted me if I kept driving it. I just wanted a newer, shinier car.

A good choice

We bought this car as a step down in size and price from a Suburban I owned for several years. It has all the capacity that we need to carry the canoe and other baggage. The cargo weight rating is very good, about twice that of the competing Toyota. The main elements of dissatisfaction are the front seats. The head rests are canted forward and inadequately adjustable. If one tries to sit in a good upright posture, the head rest forces his head forward. The only solution is to slump a little or to add a lumbar support device as I have. Second, I wish a front bench seat were an option instead of bucket seats; I can live without the little equipment console between the seats.

Great family car

Great because unlike alot of SUVs you can fit three car seats across , so instead of getting a mini van this is a nice choice

A Workhorse of an SUV

I owned a Pilot for about ten years. It was a really good car that did just about everything I ever needed from it!

Red Ruby Honda

The car meets all my needs. It is reliable, good looking on the inside and great looking on the outside in a shiny red. It is spacious and comfortable for myself and passengers. I do a lot of driving and it has not given any problems.

Reliable and roomy

I would definitely own another Pilot. Very roomy, handles well. I love the all-wheel drive & the reliability of a Honda.

Great Car

This car is a great car. We have 181,000 miles on it and it is still going strong. For being 14 years old and in the shape that it's in I would consider it a great car for a busy family like mine. And with third row seating up there is still a large trunk and the kids can take friends with them wherever we go.

Runs like a champ, excellent car

I've only had very minimal problems with this car. It gets average gas mileage for its size as well as has quite a bit of power off the line!
