2006 Hummer H2 consumer reviews

This vehicle is everything I need and needed. My best choice. It has the power for towing and my wife like to drive it so a good decision for all.

I have always wanted to own a Hummer. The H1 was not practical for a family man so I got the H2 instead. I owned an H3 previously but it was too small and didn?t have enough power. Not so with this big beautiful beast! It drives just as good as it looks. The inside is very comfortable and nice-looking as well. Mine is all ebony leather. My only gripe is some of the plastic molding on the inside is very thin and cheap. The seats are all heated, even the back seats. I also love the rounded airplane-style air conditioner vents that can be positioned basically anywhere. The H2 handles surprisingly well and has a pretty tight turning radius. The drive is very smooth since the vehicle weighs so much. The air suspension makes for a really smooth ride as well. You don?t feel any of the bumps in the road and although you feel when it?s windy outside it doesn?t move the car at all. Road noise is also inaudible. There is plenty of power under the hood. I can go 80mph uphill on the interstate without any problems. You can tow basically anything. The off-roading is unbeatable, even by a Jeep since the H2 has 10? of clearance, huge approach and departure angles, lockable rear differential, and a powerful 6.0L Vortec engine. The gas guzzling is bad compared to a sedan, but at 13 miles per gallon it is the same as any large SUV or truck. Heck, jeeps only get 15 mpg. The H2 is one of the safest vehicles you can drive and has the #1 safest score for head on collision. Reliability is very good and parts are inexpensive and easy to find. Honestly you have to drive one of these to know what is Hummer owners are talking about. There really is nothing like it and once you experience it you will be hooked.

I still love my 06 HUM H2. I know some think its a dinosaur but it still rides nice and can go off road well. Its comfortable and quiet except for my 35 inch tires. Still gets heads turning. 10-12 MPG is def not good but I am not in it for the MPG. Reliability is good and all the underpinnings are basically GMC Denali parts so its solid and easy to repair.

I?ve owned it for about 2 weeks and loving it!! Very stately vehicle and the white with the chrome package really sets it apart. Combined with the ebony interior design is immaculate. The Bose system is awesome as well. Overall I am very, very satisfied!

Alot of bling for the money. Very good forward visibility. Poor backward visibility. Fun and very capable off road.

As a Hummer owner as I have had several before I have them to be very reliable for what I do in comfort I have yet to find anything that matches them and if given the chance I would upgrade to the H1 Hummer.to me there is no other SUV that will match them,I live in western Montana and they take the snow and icy roads with no problem, to me they should have never stopped making the Hummers.
