love!
I have had a fully loaded H3 for 2 years now. Best vehicle ever. Super safe and fun to drive. It lacks a little power but it is a tank...what do you expect?

Best Real SUV
After almost 6 yrs, our '06 H3 has proven to be bulletproof, reliable, economical, and comfortable. Offroad, the Adventure Pkg with a rear locker is extremely capable. The H3 is very comfortable and fairly quiet at freeway speeds. Its maneuverability and tight turning circle is amazing. The Monsoon audio is great, and the H3 is actually quiet enough to enjoy it at 70. I wish we had bought a V8 H3T while we could. The only negative remarks we have on the H3: - the 3.5 5-cyl Vortec engine, while getting almost 20 mpg highway, struggles to make long interstate grades at 70 without downshifting. The V8 wasn't available in the 06. - the rear seats don't fold flat. - driver's visibility is poor for backing or trail driving.

Best and most fun car ever
we absolutely love our Hummer H3 and highly recommend it. The styling is great as well as the comfort. The gas mileage is fantastic and gets much better milage than our pickup and our suburban by far. I would not trade it for a brand new vehicle unless it was exactly like the one we have! Love love love it!

Impressive Vehicle
I bought my H3 used when I found I could get one from the same price as a late model Explorer or Trailblazer. I figure why not get something cool and a little different. I couldn't be more happy with my choice. The winter weather is no problem. I used this for tailgating at football, it fits me and all my friends, our stuff in no problem. Driving it to work the gas is not nearly as much of a problem as everyone makes it out to be. I get about 18mpg around town as long as I drive like a normal person. I have also taken this truck off-road, and man I can't tell you how much fun I had. I took it off road just stock, and didn't lower air pressure in the tires or anything. The H3 was awesome, creeks up above the door jam, climbing grades and mud up to the bumper, and this thing powered through all of it. It really is a shame that because of the media attention GM had to kills this brand to save face. I wish they would take this technology and but a GMC badge on it. After owner the H3 I'd have a hard time buying anything that wasn't as capable going forward.

cheaply made and over priced!
I currently own a 2006 H3, it has 47000 miles. I took it to an authorized service center located approximately 100 miles from my house, only to be told that the minor work (broken door handle), (rusty wheels), (air conditioning), and (tire sensor)wasn't covered because my warranty (4 years or 50K miles)expired. John (Hummer customer service) rudely told me that the in service date was in 2005. It's the principle and the product that concerns me! These vehicle are obviously cheaply made and over priced!

Loved my H3!
I own a yellow 2006 H3 and I love it. I have had so many compliments on how it looks as well as how it rides. I was amazed by the smooth ride, it doesn't ride like a truck or as expected. It is great for long trips. I have the luxury package with heated leather. The seats are very comfortable and they heat up very fast. In the cold winter the heat gets warm faster then any other vehicle I have been in. I would recomend the H3 to anyone looking for a reliable, fun, and comfortable ride!

LOVE THIS VEHICLE
Recently purchased this vehicle used and love it. Handles well, very comfortable, and I love the style. Some of the draw backs are low vision field out the rear window, some noise when windy and on the highway, and slow acceleration. The side mirrors make up for the loss of vision out the rear window but is difficult to tow as ou can't really see where you're moving the towed item out the back or side. Overall I would recommend this vehicle..you'll love it!
