Extremely Satisfied with my purchase!
This car has met ALL of my needs. There is a lot more leg room than anticipated, comfortable seats, spacious trunk, amazing gas mileage for both city and highway. Sport mode makes getting on fast highways easy. It is a sleek and sexy looking car with an interior that has a luxury feel to it. Great Bluetooth connectivity and back up camera as well.

Downsized from an E150
I want to say my dealer experience with Hyundai Of New Port Richey was extremely positive! This car is my primary transportation and I am retired First the negatives: 1) Door locks should never unlock automatically 2) When locking the power windows, I have never driven a vehicle that locks out the drive, until now 3) I have the SEL and there really should be at least a rear power port. 4) Would be better with more insulation against road noise Now the positives: 1) EPA highway is 37 I am getting 42!!! 2) Great safety features 3) This is a pretty nice stereo good clear highs, mid range and bass 4) Comfortable seating. I am 6' 1" and fit comfortably behind the wheel. I have a manual seat. Adjustment is easy. 5) Good headroom up front, could use another inch of height in back 6) The engine isn't noisy and doesn't feel like it is working hard 7) Between the engine and the different settings for the transmission acceleration is very good 8) front layout for power ports, USB and Aux well thought out 9) Transmission shifter is well placed. I would like a a texture added to the mode button. I love that I can manually shift the transmission. There are driving conditions where holding the transmission in a lower gear is better than being fully automatic. Rain, snow, ice and standing water. 10) Armrest height is great for someone of my height 11) Overall ergonomics are very good. 12) I would like to see the full FOB with a key option for the ignition

Great car with awesome gas mileage
The look and drive of this car is fantastic. I can drove almost 2 weeks on a tank of gas. I am getting 35 mpg with only 500 miles on the car... Drives and rides smoother than my previous car.

Great value!
I just purchased the car and very happy with the decision. Our last car was a 2009 Hyundai Sonata that we traded in for the 2019 Elantra. I was suprised at how roomy it is and how many safety features are standard equipment now. I would recommend this car!

Buyer's Remorse
I picked the Elantra because it was a good price, look, and was ok in performance. In the first week of leasing my brand new Elantra, it broke costing me over a thousand dollars for repairs out of pocket. The part that broke was made cheaper this year I found out. My question is are you really getting your money's worth?

The Value edition is the best Elantra.
The 2019 value edition is close to the 2017 Limited that I had before . I like the sun roof, but I miss the faux leather seats that the limited had. The 2019 at least has a donut in the trunk, that the 2017 didn't have. The safety features are the main reason why I chose to get a new Elantra. My insurance agent said the Value edition would cost me less which is a win. I came close to getting a Mazda 3, and looked at the Kia Forte and the Toyota Corolla hatchback. I hope that Hyundai will get more engine options for the Elantra.

The gas mileage is fantastic!
I bought my new Elantra 7 days ago and still have half a tank of gas. I've driven 224 miles in it. The body style is gorgeous and it handles better than any other car i've owned.
