Seems universally overlooked.

Seems universally overlooked. I bought it new eight years ago and have enjoyed it since. It is attractive, peppy, comfortable, and reliable. Two negatives: blind spots and goes through tires rather quickly. Many positive comments from friends. Good road car.

get this car!!

Fun car to drive and fast! The body styling is graceful and sleek, brakes are piston caliper brakes with painted heads. A fun drive that wants to be driven. get if you can find it. was meant to be a tuner car but parts aren't easy to find since its out of production if you want to go that route.

Love this car!

2016 3.8 Ulimate is my 2nd Genesis Coupe, had a 2.0T R-Spec prior, and 3 Tiburon before them, love these Coupes! Fast, great handling, responsive, and unique, bold, and yet subtle design. Very minor criticism, headspace a little tight if over 6 foot, some plastic interior, limited rear passenger space, but then one may consider it lucky to have any at all in a sports car.

Good little guy

I’ve owned mine for about 4 years and have found the car to be fairly quick and responsive. The car corners well and is quite predictable in its handling. There are a couple of areas they could have improved on, one is the interior finish (too much plastic) the second and most glaring problem is the sound system, in a word it “sucks”. I’m considering changing out the speakers in an attempt to improve it. Overall I would have to say it a decent performance sports car. I sure wish they still built them. Fun little car!

Reliable, fun responsive car ive had in a while

This car was fun dependable fast and it looked gorgeous. Only reason I don't have it anymore is due to an act of God destroying it.

My 2013 Genesis Coupe Track Edition

Why do some people say not an everyday car? I drive mine everyday all day. Mixed driving in my 3.8 with the 8 speed auto gets me 21.8 mpg. From Baltimore to North East,MD (1hr 20mins) I got 27.8 mpg doing 80 to 85 mph. I absolutely love this car. I never go anywhere without someone saying nice car, and or stoping me to ask about it. Just about every gas fill up someone says something. There is road noise from the fenderwells. I added sound deadening and fixed that. Not a perfect car, but what car is? 348 hp (mines around 390 sae) is fun in this small car. Get an exhaust, I bought Solo performance. This will wake this car up big time. My wife has a Cadillac CTS, she loves driving my car.

Best Sports Car of 2016

This car has everything you can possibly ask for in a sports car with this kind of price. 350 horsepower, amazing handling, and sharp design. The only downside is the mileage of the car, but if you buy a sports car, why care about mileage!

Overrated!

Very beautiful exterior and nice looking interior. Doors were heavy and everything rattled when closed. Good hp nice sound and would make a good tuner. That about it.
