2018 Hyundai KONA consumer reviews

I have the 2018 Hyundai Kona Limited. I am a mom of two (one in a booster, one in a rear facing convertible car seat) and the seats fit great in the back. I am 5'7 and I sit very comfortably. I wanted to be excited to drive my car with all the driving that I do (since I am the family vehicle.) The Kona does just that! I love this SUV. I went from driving a mid-sized SUV to the Kona subcompact SUV. My kids stuff fits, their car seats/booster fit safely, and with city and highway I'm averaging 30 MPG.

Very pleased with the performance. It is very comfortable to drive. Great visibility at night and mimimal blind spots. Fun car to drive. Great value for the price. Purchased the limited trim.

I bought this a month and a half ago and really love it! I have the Ultimate model in the Lime Twist color. The styling is fantastic and the interior is very comfortable. The turbo is quick and the handling is fun. It comes with a ton of safety features, cool heads-up display, huge 8" monitor with a ton of features and it's great on the open road or city. I just got back from a 2,000 mile road trip (psst. don't tell me leasing company ;) )to Idaho and it's a huge step up on the open road from my former Kia Soul. If you're thinking about purchasing this car I would definitely recommend it. If you live in Southern California don't get the Lime Twist. I love being the only guy around in this color. :) Just kidding. I would love to have a fellow Lime Twist Kona fan on the road to thumbs up on the way to my next adventure! One last thing. If you live in Southern California I recommend buying it from Tustin Hyundai. Honestly, they were the best car buying experience I've ever had.

I have owned the Kona since Feb. and I must say that I LOVE IT!!!! I have Never owned a Hyundai before but now I am one of their most loyal customers!! I will definitely stay with Hyundai for future purchases and I would recommend the brand to anyone!!!

Perfect size for getting around the city! Great gas mileage! It?s a compact SUV that still looks sporty and is fun to drive. The additional safety features are a major bonus that I didn?t even know were an option at first! Would highly recommend this vehicle.

Love the look and the way it drives great features not as much cargo space as I would have thought. Overall very happy with it.

This is a lot of vehicle for the money you have a little of everything economy stylish technology comfort it a cross between a SUV and a car fun to drive.

Our family was needed to downsize from a full-size SUV and we ended up falling in love with the Hyundai Kona. It's the perfect "in-between" car and performs like a dream. The gas mileage is just as good as our Elantra, if not better. We're a Hyundai family for life!

We always use the car with the rear seats down, so I cannot speak to rear seat legroom. We traded in an HR-V for the Kona. We loved the HR-V, but after about 3 hours on the road, the front seat became very uncomfortable. The Kona has a power drivers seat with lumbar support which should solve the problem. The 1.6l turbo seems to be a very capable engine and the car comes with enough bells and whistles to make anyone happy. NOTE: I attempted to leave the Reliability marking empty, because I have no idea of an accurate response at this time. However, the survey could not be submitted with that marking empty, and N?A is not offered as a response.
