I gave up my 2025 BMWx5 50e for the 2026 Hyundai Palisade
I gave up my 2025 BMWx5 50e for the 2026 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy Hybrid. My friends thought it was to lower my notes or because we couldn’t afford the BMW. What they didn’t know was I had paid off the BMW. Reducing cost was not a factor. I fell in love with the Palisade about three years ago, but I kept waiting on the new body style. I finally went to see the new Palisade and the features were much better than what I remembered. I love the cameras to the left and right when you use your turn signals. I love actual knobs to adjust the ac unit. I love the roominess of the second row seats and their ability to recline. The massage function for the drivers seat is awesome. The ability to recharge vs nightly plugging in a hybrid is wonderful! I won’t go on and on, but I find myself smiling really hard and peaking out the door to look at it in my garage…lol! I don’t like how loud it starts off, not crazy about the big grill, I preferred my panoramic sunroof vs the two separate sunroofs, and I lost the safety net of run flat tires. But overall, I am very pleased with my first SIX days of ownership. I will keep you updated if anything changes.

Design of the steering wheel is really dumb.
Design of the steering wheel is really dumb. Bottom center of steering wheel is completely unusable. I prefer an open bottom design like the 2026 Kia Sportage. Other than that one flaw, the Palisade is great, in my humble opinion.

I purchased this car two weeks ago.
I purchased this car two weeks ago. I traded my 2023 Palisade in for the 2026 Palisade. As soon as I drove it off the lot I felt like the steering wheel was shaking/vibrating. When I drove it onto the highway I could really feel the whole car vibrating. I called the dealership the next day and told them what it was doing and they told me to bring it back in and they would balance the tires. I took it in two days later had them balance the tires, and as soon as I left, the car was shaking even more. I drove it back to the dealership the next day and they took it for a drive and noticed it was shaking also. They kept the car and was going to take the tires and rims off and check them for any issues rebalance and put them back on. I picked up my car a week later due to the holiday and it is still shaking/vibrating. This is not normal. My 2023 Palisade did not have this issues like this. They let me test drive another brand new 2026 palisade and it is doing the same thing. Kind of weird that now I’ve drove three 2026 Palisades and every one of them is shaking/vibrating. When you try to hold the speed about 45 to 55 the car has a jerky sensation like it’s cutting out also. I am going back to the dealership tomorrow to have the service manager ride with me to point out what I’m talking about. I had the salesman ride with me also and he noticed that it was vibrating too. I’m just very disappointed at this point. I’m not sure what my options are. All I know is this is not acceptable for a brand new car. I would not recommend a 2026 Palisade.

This is my third Hyundai Palisade in 4 years.
This is my third Hyundai Palisade in 4 years. I just love the car and every model change has been an pressive improvement. I have never had a car where everyone that has gotten into it has said WOW! This is beautiful and very functional. then when they hear wha the cost was and shown more of the features, they are so impressed they are asking for the dealer's name.

I come from a long line of Hondas and Toyotas but my new 2026 Palisade Calligraphy is the best driving vehicle I have purchased to date. My previous vehicle was a 2019 Toyota 4Runner and I can tell a very noticeable improvement in power (which really wasn’t even that important to me). It has the most beautiful, sleek, and innovative interior and drives and rides unbelievably smooth.

I bought the Calligraphy Edition.
I bought the Calligraphy Edition. The ride is smooth and the seats are comfortable. The driver's seat has a massager for your back and seat. This feature is designed to keep your body comfortable during longer drives. The 3.5l engine is thirsty for short trips, but reasonable on the highway. My version has door cam feature where any one near the car will be recorded. I like the all down feature for the windows with a touch and hold of the unlock button. Nice when it's hot out, but not a useful feature in a high crime area. I have the 7 passenger arrangement of seats, and the middle and back row can electrically lay flat offering much room for your stuff. The front turning signal are big and segmented. When turning one the vehicle will cause them to flash on top to bottom while the center bar light is in motion providing a Knight Riderish effect. The environment has dual climate controls in the front and separate climate controls for your rear passengers comfort. I have a tow bar with connectivity for electrically controlled brake trailers at 5000lbs max or non braking trailers 1000 max. The infotainment system provides guidance. This is only available when not using android auto and apple play. Notifications though will show. I don't have a roof rack, but one can be bought at Hyundai dealerships. Finally, all the driver assistant features work as expected, i.e., keep lane assist, cruise control assistant, steering assistant, with HDA. The heads up display conveniently keeps you eyes on the road while providing important information. The infrared facial camera reminds you to keep your eyes one the road. And a notification to keep your hands on then wheel when the steering assistant is in use.
