The most rommiest sadan ice ever owned

I was totally surprised by the Sonada. It has so much room which was very important factor. This make was not on my lust of cars but I was sure sold on it.

Turbo frenzy

To whom it may concern. This car is exceptional for the money. Very sleek designs inside and outside. Very roomy for a mid size car. Very great fuel economy for a turbo. Would highly recommend this car if looking for a mid size sporty four door turbo car. Plenty of pep.

Solid car!

Love this car! It is roomy, comfortable, and easy to maneuver. Back up camera has wide coverage and is clear. While it is a 4 cylinder, it has great pick up, and fuel economy(around 28 city). Visibility is much better than my Buick Lacrosse, although I miss my blind spot notification. The trunk is very large! I like the auto-open feature where if the vehicle is locked, the key fob will pop the trunk after a series of warning beeps wothout having to push the button. It has heated seats-awesome!, sun roof, satellite radio, cd player, and ac. The AC works great, but the controls are not as flexible or elegant as my Buick. Overall, the feel is not as high end as the Lacrosse, but is roomier and has better pickup and mpg. Really solid vehicle, fun to drive, fuel efficient, comfortable and pretty!

A nice car for a new driver.

When I increase my speed, car is not easy to increase, that's the only problem. Other thing is left mirror is a little difficult to see.

My 8th Hyundai a nice upgrade from my Elantra

Previously had driven two Elantras; my wife is on her second Tucson, and we bought five Accents for our children. My new Sonata has been a great upgrade from my 2012 Elantra, with increased comfort, better ride, less road noise, and *better* gas mileage. With its larger gas tank, my driving range is about 150 miles farther than my Elantra's. I paid about $19,000 for the Sonata, making it a great value with all the amenities that come even in a base model. I've only driven it 1500 miles so far, but, if it's as reliable as our previous Hyundais, I can look forward to six more years of low maintenance cost.

Great Car Relative to Cost

This review is for the 2017 Hyundai Sonata Middle East Version. Comfort: The driver seat can be adjusted horizontally and vertically (although hardly noticeable). The AC is not as strong as the Toyota's. Performance: I thought the acceleration sucked. But when I realized that there is a button next to the gear shift that says Drive mode, and depending on your trim, the sport mode will be extremely satisfactory. It uses quite a lot of gas but it's the power and the pull that I need. Gas prices in Kuwait are cheap so it doesn't really matter. It handles also quite well, I can jump in and out of the fast lane at 100 mph with ease. Scoring the curves is also a treat. You may also use ECO mode if you want to cut back on gas. I don?t know if there are cars that have better handling than Sonata. Some reviews I?ve read say Mazda 6 and Honda Accord handle better. But, I mean, it is a family car. It is not a race car. It is a Front Wheel Drive. With the way this generation currently handles, I don?t think anybody needs any more that what it has to offer. I've also learned that the engine in the Sonata is the same as the engine used in Mitsubishi vehicles so there's an added performance reliability in there considering the reputation of Japanese engines. Exterior Styling: The style of Sonata, Elantra, and Accent all look the same. I hate it. Although it is in the same price as the Toyota Camry base trim, the Sonata has alloy hubs that make it look high end. The Camry with the hubcap looks cheap. I actually was looking at the Camry but the Camry base trim is so ugly. It doesn?t even have the steel liner that the Sonata has. I still would like to prefer Camry over Sonata, but the next step trim has a steep price hike of almost 50%. I can get the same look with the Sonata for a much lower price. Give or take 10 years, The Sonata and the Camry will have been in the same condition. Interior Design: The AC controls are butt ugly but they are very soft and responsive. There is a usb hub and a separate 12V port, which makes you not to use the lighter anymore. The dashboard feels like it is made of cheap plastic. The design is mostly linear which doesn?t exude style and refinement. The smell of new car, although satisfying, is horrible. Value for Money I purchased the 2017 Sonata for US$18,000. The price of the 2018 Sonata was US$ 23,000. The price of 2017 Camry GL (base trim/Low Option) was US$17,500 and the price of 2017 Camry GLX (Full Option) was US$ 24,000. Given the 2017 Sonata's performance (it has the same engine as the 2018 model) and exterior looks, I?d say it?s worth it and the price is unbeatable. I also got the 2017 model because by the time I was looking to purchase a car, they have already released the 2018 model. I liked the styling of the 2018 model better but they marked down the 2017 that was hard to resist. And there were only 3 last units remaining (that's what the salesman told me). The warranty is the same as Toyota's at 5 years/100,000 kms, whichever comes first. Although they have an option of unlimited mileage (although they use kilometer) for 4 years. With the nature of my work, I don't think I can drive 100,000 kilometers (62,000 miles) in 5 years. Reliability I?ve owned a Hyundai Accent before and it had been very reliable for the last 500,000 kilometers. I can?t really comment on Sonata?s reliability as I have just owned it for a few days. I will update this review as I discover more.

2nd Hyundai, very reliability, great value

Checked this car vs Ford Fusion, Chevy Malibu,Toyota Camry and Honda Accord, only model that equaled all the safety features was the Camry, but at a higher price, drove both cars and it was toss up, but the long warranty on the Sonata was the final deal.

Spacious and Nice!!

I loved the new look of the car. It's very sleek and the body has changed. I owned the same car in 2011 and love the 2017 one even more. Plenty of room and nice style
