Fast and frugal
Bought car used, it had held up well. Seats and interior showed minimal wear. The technology on the car is intuitive and still relevant four years later. Performance is above par for price and size. Really enjoying it so far.

Veloster Turbo: Good Value ?Sporty Car?
I have enjoyed owning my 2014 Veloster Turbo for 4.5 years and 57k miles. Fun to drive and it?s unique look has aged well. I would recommend it to those wanting a daily driver with a little bit of fun capability, the VT is a good choice.

Best test drive ever! (except I didn't drive...)
The 2014 Hyundai Veloster Turbo, where do I start... I literally just test drove the car today so, my experience is fresh in my mind. Lets start with my first impressions. When I first saw the car in person, it was black on black, it looked fantastic. It was the perfect mix of sporty and quirky. The front of the car looked aggressive, but not necessarily angry, which I liked. Now, going to rear this, I will have to say, was my least favorite part of the car. I didn't not like it, it was just different which is not exactly a bad thing, it just didn't fit my tastes. The interior was well executed. I looked at a car that, like I said, was black on black, but the interior was black with the complementing blue accenting. This car, of all the Velosters I have seen online had my favorite spec (color combination). There were two main issues with the interior though, the center dashboard controls looked kinda cheap and the steering wheel didn't fit the sportiness of the car. Aside from that, the visual impressions of the car were great! Now, to the test drive (which I did not drive)! The Veloster has a 6 speed manual transmission, just one issue, when I go to look at a car with a manual, I need to know how to drive a manual! Because, of my lack of competency when driving a manual, I had my sales person take me for a drive :). So, I will be reviewing from the passenger seat. Anyway, the Veloster felt great on the road, though if you are looking for a car with a smooth ride, this is probably not the one you are looking for. It is more set up for a sporty ride, which means the suspension is tighter (a bumpier ride). When we were driving it had a good exhaust note (which I did not expect) and when you shifted you could here the turbo blow off sound, which gave it a much sportier feel. My overall feel for the car is, put simply, awesome! I've been looking for a sporty car to learn to drive a manual with and I think I found it! This is an easy recommendation for me. Anyone looking for a sporty car in the $12000 to $15000 range, this is the car for you!!

Slow, gas guzzler
It was a nice looking vehicle. I honestly just wished I had gotten the turbo version of the vehicle. It was slow, lacked any kind of power as needed and was overall ended up needing more gas to keep up with traffic. What should have been a 35MPG trip ended up to around 20-25 MPG.

Most fun car to drive
This car handles incredibly well, is very comfortable and reliable and gets many compliments on the stylish exterior. The sun/moon roof is a great feature and the dashboard navigation is very easy to use.

Very reliable, quick, great on gas
The veloster is a great car with plenty of trunk space and enough room in the back seats for people to sit comfortably. It is a very easy car to drive and has no blind spots.
