G35-The Reliable, The Comfy, And The Loud

The car, looking oh so good on the outside of it, is all that it seems. It's clean, comfy, and really reliable. It has good mileage, good looks, is comfy, and is good overall. The one I have has a modified screen that looks like it was a part of the original car. However, the only complaint I have is that it's really loud. If you want a quieter car, I suggest getting new mufflers. If you're fine with it, it's good otherwise!

Old but Gold

I would say I’m probably the 4th or 5th owner of this car. My cousin got it from some guy and then gifted it to me. I got it at about 130k and it’s now approaching the 230k mark. This car burns through oil quick, so you have to make sure to check your oil frequently. I did have some rust issues with the muffler so that had to be replaced. The transmission finally started giving off a burnt smell so that might be a sign it’s dying. It’s almost 20 years old but still extremely reliable. The interior is outdated and falling apart (cousin was a construction worker and didn’t clean the interior all that well) but still runs great. Great acceleration too, that’s probably my favorite part about the car.

Great fun little car.

Was a great "date night" car. Very fun to drive and worth every penny! If it were better in the winter, I'd buy another in a heartbeat!

Great engine/transmission.

Second owner. Purchased 5 years ago with 116K miles on it. Now have 155K. Car runs amazing. Incredibly quick from a stop. The automatic transmission shifts quickly and smoothly allowing for quick acceleration. The only issues I've had was the steering rack leaked and had to be replaced for total cost of $800. The Bose stereo also had to be replaced. Interior is a little dated as far as electronics go but it IS a 17 year old car. Despite the unavoidable paint chips the paint still looks great too. Hope to keep it till at least 200K miles.

Love my G

I love my G, as a previous owner of a G35 Generation 1, I’m currently on my Second one which I just purchased about a week ago, as I found a guy miles away with one but all worth it. Infiniti did it with these from a liability stand point they stay solid, and reliable. MPG Gas can better. Looks wise they are very slick/stylish Overall good job Infiniti 👌🏽 Can’t go wrong with the G

2003 G35 Coupe with Timeless Styling!

You would think this is a new car based on the styling and performance...the only thing that shows its age is the navigation screen! The leather seats are still in great shape, and all the power options work great especially knowing this is a 17 year old car! The only issue I had with it was a bad rear wheel hub bearing, but it was an easy fix!

It has been the most dependable and fun car to own

Great performance, 50/50 weight distribution, strong 3.5 Ltr V6, great gas mileage and Brembo performance brakes from the factory. It's my daily driver and most miles were gained on highway by driving to Yuma a few times to install a network for a VA center. I'm likely going to buy another one soon but only selling to fund maintenance for another family vehicle.
