2022 INFINITI Q50 consumer reviews

Problems from the word GO. Bought certified pre-owned and there was recall immediately after purchase. No biggie. These things happen. Did not want to drive 90 minutes each way to dealer where I purchased, so I went to a local Infiniti dealer for the recall 3 weeks after purchase. Their inspection found I needed brakes (less than 1,000 miles driven). The retailer I purchased from did not want to take responsibility and said the brakes were fine when they certified it (mind you I only got one key fob and found after researching that part of the certification includes TWO key fobs). When the dealer didn't want to take responsibility, I reached out to Infiniti USA. They were very responsive and I am guessing they forced the hand of the dealer and brakes were fixed and 2nd fob acquired at no cost to me. All that aside, I have the luxe model and there is NOTHING luxe about it. No memory seats, drives like a Hyundai...Doesn't seem to want to kick into gear for a while. I like to name my cars. This ones name is LINO (Luxury in Name Only). Had a G37 years ago and it was my favorite car ever. After this, I will never buy an Infiniti again.

IF you want to take a powerful car on a smooth ride, buy this car. It is so luxurious and has almost every bell and whistle I can think of. The value was great. The dealership not so great, but, I love my new car. It is so spacious and almost no detail went unthought of. Definitely a 5 of 4.9. The only thing I don't care for is the shifter doesn't make sense. Why is the Park setting a button while the shifter is separate. It should be the regular shifter. Doesn't make sense to me at all. That's the only complaint I have. But in time, I'm getting used to it.

Beautiful car. Many good features. Bought certified used. Rear brakes had to be replaced 9 months after I bought it. Had only driven it for 2000 miles. We’re the breaks missed when being certified? Don’t know but the dealership replaced when asked to do so at no cost buT we had to insist it was their problem no ours. Also had to have the front rotors replaced (we weren’t charged. The only problem I had was the dealership wouldn’t give us a receipt to prove the work was done.
