Transmission went out at 72K dealer replaced.

Transmission went out at 72K dealer replaced. Had to keep replacing the car battery due to a gas saving tech. I found the wire and cut that so now my alternator charges battery every time. Had to replace the entire Cat system, a lot of $$$. Overall a really nice vehicle for the time but super unreliable. I finally traded it in for another pricey SUV. The gas mileage is also not good but it looks good on the outside and inside. Sound system is also really good. But looking good and being stranded is never a good look.

Use 97 or higher gas!

Seems to be a great ride and the used price is not bad. Be sure you use the high octane gas, otherwise the fuel pumps, yes there are two high and low pressure, may get gunked up and damaged as the lower octane gas doesn't burn clean enough and the residue can clog the fuel pumps.

The BEST SUV I've ever owned.

I bought the 2011 QX56 used with 130,000km. It was severely neglected, had bald tires, rear hatch would not open, it looked like no one changed the engine oil in years, the air pump for rear shocks was toast, the windshield was cracked everywhere, the check engine light was on, the interior was filthy, the brake rotors and pads were gone, and I wondered why the seemingly rich person I bought the QX56 from did not care at all to look after it. The answer is he preferred his LaFerrari, GTR, and ML350, to the QX56. He only used it to tow a travel trailer when camping with his kids. Wow. Needless to say, I took the QX56 under my wing, spend some $9000+ in new parts, tools I needed to work on it, and upgrades, and now I have a vehicle that is safe, looks brand new, and I love driving it. It fits my family of 5 perfectly. The cargo space is amazing. I get 11.2L/100km (21mpg) which is amounts to about 750km/tank of gas. If you're looking for a luxury SUV with more options than you can think of then this one is for you. The bird's eye view camera system is priceless when parking in tight spaces. It's accurate and easy to use. Active cruise control is amazing with it's distance settings, and the collision avoidance system works like a charm, stopping the vehicle automatically to prevent it from rear-ending the car in front of you. Suggestions for improvement: 1. The center console does not have a wall separating the cup holders from the lid when the lid is open. This yields to smaller things like keys getting stuck under the open lid and then they're hard to remove. 2. There is no convenient small place to put the keyfob into, despite all of the storage space available. 3. The active cruise control stops working when there is ice or snow on the lens located in the lower grille. I get why it does so, but I'd like the cruise to continue to work in winter time too. Having to stop the SUV on the side of the highway to scrape the ice or mud off the sensor is not exactly convenient and safe. 4. The side mirror control buttons and hatch release button are located way down on the left side of the steering column, making them less convenient. 5. The center console separating the 2nd row captains chairs should have quick release, making it super easy to remove when creating a passage to get to the 3rd row. We have baby seats permanently installed on the captain chairs, so the 3rd row seating is hard to access with the center console in place. 6. The factory window tint on the 3 rear windows is very light. I prefer to have more privacy in the cargo area. I had the windows tinted again over top of the factory tint and it's perfect now. 7. The sunroof is so small that we barely use it. It would be much better to not have it or have a panoramic roof.

I really love my 2013 QX56!

Yes, it's 8 years old now but wow, what a sweet ride. I love the interior. Plenty of amenities and nicely appointed. Powerful V8 and handles nicely for a large SUV. Very happy!

Has Electric Issues ... but all else is good

Love the car, powerful, comfortable, and it has lots of room for Kids, dogs, etc. I have had failure to start now a couple of times, whereby I had to tow the car to the dealer. No real solution, except to replace the battery. Seems to be an issue with others but no real solution.

Nice car

The car was cian like I asked upon arrival. The honesty upfront about the vehicle eased my mind about the car buying experience. After test driving it, we loved the comfort, the drive and the look

Infiniti of southbay in Torrance CA.

Vehicle its nice but was sold with major issues, one of them that requires a 2k repair to pass California emissions test. Car is nice but i can't even enjoy due to a faulty remote.

Worst car we’ve ever owned

We love the Infiniti brand but they missed big time with this car. We’ve had so many problems with it and the value is awful. So unreliable and has cost a lot in repairs and in missing work to take it to be fixed.
