1999 Isuzu Trooper consumer reviews

I have not had any issues with my trooper. It has been hit 2 different times while parked in front of my house. It still runs like it's new. It is just recked on the passenger side.

I bought mine that had been sitting for 2 years, with 175,000 miles. I paid 1500 cash, all it needed was tranny fluid, and an oil change. At 190k i did the timing belt and water pump. It now has 205k and runs and drives great, Love my trooper.

This truck has to be the most unreliable vehicle ive ever owned, and ive had a fair share of rides. Engine and transmission suck xxxxx.

One of the BEST vehicles I have ever owned. Very reliable, not bad fuel mileage and plenty or room. Very comfortable and a great ride. Plenty of room for the kids and the groceries and easy access.

I have had two troopers. I bought a 1999 program Trooper with 6ooo miles on it in 2000. I am still driving it at 220,000 miles. It still runs grest! After owning my first trooper, I knew that they used oil, but I have always added it when it needs it and have had a great experience with this vehicle. I wish I could buy another one. I have had to change the timing belt (maintenance) and fuel pump, both repairs around $500. At about 195K miles, I had to get a more major repair ($1500) to fix an issue involving catalytic conveter (acceleration problem). All other work done has been routine maintenance. I have not had a car payment for seven years and running!
