Classy and sporty

A great reliable car with low cost of maintenance. The Jaguar reputation of years ago is long gone. Many people have asked if it is an Aston Martin.

Best Car I Have Ever Owned

I bought my 2009 XK-S in 2014. Over the six years since then, my only outlays have been on fuel, services and tyres. The reliability, comfort, style and performance are everything I could wish for. And it makes me feel like a million dollars. Grace with pace.

Jaguar XK Convertible is a very nice car!

The 2009 Jag XK convertible is a great car. 300 HP. Plenty of torque. Sounds great with a nice V8 rumble. Very comfortable with terrific seats. Quiet on the highway. Satellite radio, navigation, paddle shifter automatic, climate control, this was an $80K plus car when new, depreciation has made it a grand bargain.

Most satisfying driving car in 60+ years

Totally enjoy this car every time it is driven! I give it 5 stars in all categories, there is nothing more to say.

Just Love It

Best driving experience in 60+ years!!! Cost effective version of the Aston Martin coupe designed by the same guys.

Most satisfying driving car in 60+ years!!!

Been a Jaguar fanatic for years owning several restored antique and 2 modern vehicles. this particular car just provided the most enjoyable drive of them all. To me it perfectly embodies the "luxury Grand Touring" concept of automotive use. Mechanically sound, responsive and comfortable. This car has been totally satisfactory in the 6+ years of ownership.

Great service at Barrett Auto on a 2009 Jaguar XK8

The 2009 Jaguar XK8 speaks for itself if you like convertibles. We also own an XKR convertible and so performance is not quite the same however the V-8's in both cars are smooth and controlled, not to forget relatively economical for a 4.2 liter displacement. The handling characteristic's in sport mode are exacting, flat cornering. I will say that Barrett Motors of Mcallen and RUDY V. in particular did a superbly fine job for us in explaining the performance and luxury features of the car. Very knowledgeable and made us do a deeper review prior to purchase. The car does not have a backup camera although the sensor system is by far the best we have experienced in a vehicle. We will buy a car again from the Barrett Dealership based on our experience with, Rudy, Abel, Fernando and Sam. We looked across the country for a car that was well maintained and not driven in salt conditions, no salted roads in Texas!! Economy is 22-23 mpg with strong acceleration when needed. Thank you for no pressure Barrett Motors and also to Cars.Com
