2011 Jeep Compass FWD
I traded my Suzuki GrandVitara in on this Compass and I couldn't be happier. I got the FWD Laditude with the 2.0 motor. I put on about 65 - 70 miles round trip during the week and I am alredy saving gas money. The ride is great and so far I love this vehicle.

Very pleased with our Compass
Have had our 2011 Compass for 6 months now, and I can not say anything bad about it. Great little SUV. I read "professional" reviews that all talk about engine noise. I say .... what engine noise??? This is a quiet, smooth driving vehicle. We couldnt be happier. We love it.

2011 Compass Latitude
I bought my Compass Latitude 4X4 w/2.4 engine this past May, it's my first SUV of any kind. I think it was a great choice for me and anyone else looking for an SUV that's a good in between size, meaning 'Not to Big' 'Not to Small'. It has enough bells and whistles to make most anyone happy; from heated side view mirrors to a built in flash light in the rear interior light!. For the money (low mid 20s) this SUV is about as good as it gets, if it was an import I think you would pay closer to 30K. I've gotten as much as 31 mpg on the highway; & about 23 mpg city (harder for me to really calculate city mpg). But if it's more pickup you want the 2.4 cu is the way to go "but, remember it's not a race car" it's not going to pin you back in your seat!, I can tell you it's quite and smooth with none existent trany shifts and at 70 or 80 mph on the thruway you will not feel the speed so keep your eyes open for the cops! LOL!.

Don't buy this Lemon!!!
I purchased a 2011 Compass new in April of 2011, I have had nothing but trouble out of it. 3 days into driving my new car I noticed a whistling noise, so I brought it to the dealership...Over FIVE WEEKS LATER the car was returned to me still not fixed! They said that they would swap out the car with a new one, I thought this was going to be ok. In the mean time I had to drive the original compass, While getting on the Highway and the vehicle decided to shut off. Then I went to pick up the replacement Compass, and they told me that I couldn't because something was wrong with the AC and it wasn't getting cold at all. This was three strikes for me, so it was decided that Jeep would have to buy the vehicle back from me. Well it's now August and I am still in the original Compass, still has problems, and it is always "just one more week" with Jeep. DO NOT BUY THIS LEMON!!!

2011 compass review
I bought my 2011 Jeep Compass in May. I have enjoyed it but it had very poor acceleration. That is my biggest complaint. It has enough room but not too big.

Great Vehicle At A Good Price
I bought the 2011 Compass after owning a 2009 Jeep Patriot. I liked the Patriot because of the way it held the road. It was the only trail rated SUV in its class. It was a nice car for under 20K. But when the 2011 Compass came along I was "wowed". The new Compass comes in a trail rated version, but the styling puts it a new class of its own. It looks great! Jeep has made some other improvements with a smoother and quieter ride. There are options offered on some editions which offer a nice touch of luxury for something that goes for in the low 20s. The down-side to the Compass is that it still has the same drive-train as my old Patriot which is a little sluggish even though it this offers some economy with gas milage. But overall, all the improvements made by Jeep has made this a nice economy minded SUV which looks and rides great. With some extras like the Sun Roof and the Boston Acoustic sound system, this is a fun vehicle to own.

VERY NICE
Wow. Well let me say that i am very impressed with this product. I bought a 2011 Jeep Compass Latitude, loaded with more features then i have ever had. Remote start, sirius radio, heated seats, audio controls on the backside of the steering wheel. Just a beautiful build. I love the new front end, mimmicking the grand cherokee. Look closely and you will notice the tail lights and rear bumper have been changed also. I went with the 2.4 liter engine and it has pleanty of power, while also offering good gas mileage, especially for a suv. Great value for product, dont hesitate go get your own.

Surprising SUV
Recently traded in my 2007 Audi A4 in for this car and though some people shake their heads at me for my decision, I couldn't be happier. I really needed an SUV because I'm a taller guy and I would constantly have sore legs and back when I stepped out of the A4. I was looking for an SUV with all the bells and whistles, and for all the options or a luxury brand, you're looking at prices in the $40K range. I did not want to spend that kind of money on top of a gas guzzler. I got a fully loaded Compass with leather, navigation, remote starter and bluetooth for under $30,000 and it gets about the same mpg as my old A4 and even has a smaller tank! The car rides great, handles very well and is quite comfortable. The critics say it's a very noisy car on the highway but I don't think so; the wind noise leaking into the cabin in my A4 was much lounder! I just wish they spent a little more time on the interior but I'm overall, I give this car a 5.

Perfect for doing it all!
I was looking for a used 4x4, but a friend knowing all about Jeeps (he owns a 2011 Jeep Wranger Unlimited 4x4) convinced me to make an offer on a brand new '11 Compass. Not only was it affordable, I drove off with a Limited model with leather, heated seats, sunroof and navigation. Many think it is a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I LOVE this "go any where/do anything" car/truck/suv/crossover... whatever you call it, it will serve the purpose and mine gets about 28-32 miles/gallon to and from work... even better with all highway mileage. My two English Springers love the rear area and have loads of room to nap. The Jeep rides like a smooth luxury car and handles like a sportier vehicle. The quality is highest in its class, I think. No problems at all... pure joy in every way.
