Great SUV for a great price

This car is so reliable and met all of our needs. It is an easy drive, is stylish and compact yet has plenty of room for a small family.

Don't really feel safe

There are a few things that make me feel unsafe in this car. The biggest issue I have with it is it is super small!! This is a car trying to be an SUV.

So safe and fun

So far, everything I want in a vehicle has been met. Plenty of leg room, tons of cargo space, horsepower, and still very good on gas mileage. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good suv

Car did not hold value at all

The best part about this jeep is the Apple Car Play. I loved this feature. The gas tank is too small and the cargo area is not large enough to make this a truly functional SUV. I bought the redesigned Compass in 2017 and it has not held its value at all. Had problems with the navigation / radio and already had to have that replaced. Like the digital speedometer and driver interface

Love my Jeep Compass Except

The compass is a great car, it's roomy comfortable and stylish. The only problem I have is at times of acceleration it feels like I get hit from behind , it doesn't happen all the time but enough to concern. I took it in and dealer advised it was fixed but it is not

The new Compass Sport, manual transmission, 2wd

Mine is about the most basic Compass you can get, the only option on my compass was the appearance package that upgraded to alloy wheels. It's been solid. The seat fit me well, the interior has held up well. I feel like its Italian heritage comes through in the drive quality. It's slow and steering is obviously electric but the suspension is well-damped, its fun to push it a bit in corners in a slow-car-fast kinda way. The manual transmission is fine, nothing sticks out as bothersome about it but its not the most refined I've driven. 1st is geared a bit low for my taste and 1-2 is kinda balky if you're trying to get to speed, but its really fine and I'm thankful I can still get a stick in a practical car. Fueling isn't great, it gets herky jerky if you get on or off the throttle around 1.5-2k rpm, which can get annoying in parking lots. Some kind of fuel cut system for emissions I'm sure. Mileage has been a bit disappointing, under 25 mpg most of the time, but I drive most of my miles in Atlanta stop and go traffic. No quality issues so far other than orange peel paint that was there when I drove it off the dealer lot. Its not the highest quality or most sophisticated thing on the market but its cheap and cheerful and useful and you can get it with a stick.
