Enjoy the quick feel the Jeep has. Enjoy the versatility the Jeep offers whether that be off road, taking the top down, take the doors off and go for a drive. Very happy with the updates the Jeep has made since the last one I had in college. The rag makes minimal noise. It is relatively easy to take down and set back up. Before you basically had to comit, topo or no top, because getting everything back together could take 1 hour. Now I can do it alone and within 5 min.

Have had two previous Wranglers. 88 and 93. What a difference. Still has the bumpy ride and nebulous steering of the wrangler but the new engine is peppy and gave me almost a 50% improvement in gas milage. The u-connect system sometimes gets confused with multiple phones and ipod sources. But overall as a prior Wrangler(s) owner, this is the best yet. Bought it Nov 11th, have 3600 miles on it. Have had it in the woods, on the beach, just waiting for some snow on Long Island.

So, I've always wanted a Wrangler and I finally caved in and got one. I must say, I'm not disappointed! This vehicle is so much fun to drive. It's got great pick-up and it turns on a dime. I love the way you sit up high and have great visibility--from the front, that is. One of the only criticisms I have is that I don't like the visibility out the rear window when the back seats are up. The headrests sit up really high and block a significant portion of my rear view. I have to figure out if the headrest is removable. Also, I bought the 2-door model and my son loves to ride in "the new car" so it's a little bit of a hassle getting him strapped into the rear seat so if you're going to have rear seat passengers frequently, definitely consider a 4-door model. Bought the car in December and have had it to the dealer once for a leak after a very bad rainstorm. But they had a leak specialist work on it and so far, no more water. *knock wood* I can't wait until warm weather when I can remove the Freedom top and really get the full Wrangler experience. And I always wave!

Glad I waited for the 2012 Wrangler with the new engine and transmission. Already seeing improvement in power/acceleration and mileage at only 600 miles is around 17.5 mpg on short trips. Leather interior and appointments inside very nice. Awkward getting into rear seat but mostly only me and passenger.

Overall an awesome vehicle, really enjoyable to drive with lots of plush features compared to the older Jeeps. You can tell electronics are not the shining achievenemt of Jeep though. I have had a couple of times the windshield wipers just go off randomly once. I think it is a grounding issue from what I have heard from other Jeep owners in forums. The 2 door has very little foot room in the back seat so get the 4 door if you are a people mover... I just have a dog and a husband to cart around so back seat room was not really a big concern to me. The 2 door has more power per weight of vehicle and that's what I wanted and definately got. There is no car/truck that parallel parks better. The short wheel base is awesome and you can park just about anywhere. The plastic frame buzzed a little bit when it was vibrated by the sound system (when turned up to "this is my jam" volume) but the dealership fixed the issue by padding the buzzing part of the panelling from underneath. All issues are small overall and it is really alot of fun to drive and even park.

Fun, Fast, Rugged Car

by from Superior, CO on June 26, 2012

Incredible how quick this car is with the new 3.6 engine and 6 spd manual with the 3.73 gears. Fun to drive, handles great, very comfortable.

I wrote an earlier review from before I Installed spacers and can only tell you that if I had changed tires and installed the spacers earlier, I would have had a much more favorable opinion on this Wrangler. It vastly improves the ride on the highway and off road, making this vehicle much more stable. I used 1.75 spacers and feel like this is the way the Wrangler should come off the assembley line. The best part about this vehicle are the Pentastar and transmission that seem to be mated much better than jeeps of the past.

This is my second Jeep and my first Wrangler. I Love everything about this car including the way it handles on the road. The size is optimal for me and I love the ability to make lots of mods. I expect to have this jeep for at least a decade. I did have to get used to the reduced view out the back of the vehicle.

This is not my first Wrangler. And initially I was looking at used Libertys with the diesel engine. But I just wanted to drive a Jeep because, well, because I LOVE Jeeps!! It has evolved so nicely since the first one I owned in '97. Plush seats, wonderfully appointed interior, quiet ride, cruise control. I am not a fast driver and use cruise whenever I can. My mileage computer says about 24 MPGs. I am good with that but actually, can it be, think I am doing better than that. If you're thinking about buying one, quit thinking and go do it, you won't regret it.
