2015 Forte LX sedan.

Ive been a long time Toyota fan, having owned Corollas and Camrys in the past. When it was time to trade in my 09 Corolla, I looked at the 14 Corolla LE and the 2015 Forte LX. To my surprise, The Forte was nicer In about every way. More Horse power, more features, nicer interior, and very nice sporty styling and all for a lesser price. I test drove both and actually thought the Forte drove better. It just had a better feel. It also had heated mirrors, blue tooth, cruise, pw, pm, pl, ac, auto trans, turn signals on the mirrors, tilt-telescope steering wheel with all controls on it, and again all for a lower price. This is my first KIA, and theres no doubt they have come a long way. But for the few months Ive had it, its been a great car. PROS: Sporty styling, loaded with features and affordable pricing. CONS: Would still like a little more pep in the engine, but this seems to be the norm with compact cars. but this KIA still has more power then the corolla and civic.

2014 Kia Forte

I've had this car for 7 months now. I have been very impressed at how quiet, smooth and comfortable the ride is. It has very nice acceleration, no problem getting into traffic, and can go up a hill with the A/C running without any "dragging" issues. I have been on one road trip, and it got 41.3 mpg (70-80 mph, using A/C) - way more than expected! For the first 5 months I commuted 18 miles to work, combined highway/city - it consistently got 30.5 - 31.5 mpg without the A/C, 29.9 - 30.2 with the A/C. The last 2 months I have been driving in town only, with the A/C - it consistently gets 26.4 - 26.7 mpg. The interior seems to be bigger than the exterior, and the trunk is large for a compact car. I have the basic model, so I don't have cruise control or remote door locks, which hasn't bothered me. It has stereo and Bluetooth phone controls on the steering wheel - I love this! The front and side airbags make me feel reasonably safe. There are only 2 things I don't like: (1) No spare tire - if I had been aware of that, I would have ordered a "donut" when I leased the car. (2) It's difficult to see out the back; when my lease is up I will probably upgrade to the model that has a backup camera.

my dad bought one and i was impressed

My Dad had bought a Kia Forte 5 and I was so impressed with it that I decided it was the car for me. This car is spacious throughout, has the most comfortable seats and the engine has plenty of pick up and go. Dani Seals (sales agent) & the team of Tracy and Jason at Universal Kia of Franklin TN made my experience of letting go of my BMW Z-4 that I had enjoyed for 11 years and helping me find the right car very pleasant and refreshing. I love my 2014 Kia Forte5 EX in Metallic Bronze.

No spear tire

That's right have a blowout or cut call a tow truck there is no spear or jack. Just a pump and some sealer that only works if the tire get a nail in it. These is something the sales person dose not tell you at Bert Ogden Harlingen TX

A wise decision

In this economy, value goes a very long way indeed. The crew at Paramount gave me a fair deal and I traded up. They knocked down my monthly payments by 50.00/month. A car payment instead of skyrocketing monthly maintenance on a 2007 hybrid is better than watching maintainence lights flash every month. Do yourself a favor and just itemize the accessories and consider what you're getting for your money- The headlight package at night (fog lamps are standard!) is like Star Wars on the roads...

Needs Better Tires

Love the Car, we bought the the EX- Forte in May 2013 from Capital Kia Austin,TX. It came with NEXEN tires on it, within 2500 miles one tire developed a bubble on the side wall. Went to the Dealer and was told the tires were not covered they wanted $200.00 to replace it. So I went to Discount tire and purchased a new tire different brand, within 8000 miles second tire failed. The Kia Forte is a great car except for this paticular brand Tire that comes on it and this particular dealership that wont' stand behind their product.I will not take this back to Capital Kia for service.Great Car just ask for different brand tires before you purchase.
