This is the 1st Hybrid I've owned.

As it's brand new, I'm still learning all it's many features. I had to switch from a sedan because of back problems and this is just the right height. I love the ride and how quiet the cabin is. It has so many safety features, "blind side', "back up camera"," built in GPS", "folding side view mirrors". I haven't gone on any long range rides yet, but the mileage gets better every time I take a ride as I learn the most economical way to drive it. I really enjoy this vehicle.

Fuel economy without sacrifice.

Feels like a solid full sized wagon. Getting into this car I immediately knew Kia had stepped up their game. I traded my 2016 soul for it. The build quality is much beefier than their vehicles of the past. In eco it can be a bit sluggish on the highway. But once you engage sport mode the car transforms into something totally different. It has some power. I love it. Highly recommended.

Great interior design/clean dash

Got the EX with Tech package including the very useful and much used adaptive cruise control. Gets 48-55MPG regularly except in colder short trips where it may get around 34. Love the clean dash, heated seats, and door handle welcome lights. Excellent Apple CarPlay implementation. Also love it when it's able to go in electric mode at speeds as high as 40mph (60mph downhill). Normally very quiet, but the engine noise, when it occasionally does come on at low speeds, is a bit jarring/buzzy. Not a problem on the highway though. Incredible range of ~525 miles. $25 per gas fill-up every couple weeks. Overall, love the car, and look forward to buying an all-electric version 7-10 years down the road when new battery tech comes down in price enough to provide the same car with 500 miles on one battery charge.

My former car was a KIA Soul.

I drive a lot of miles and the fuel economy and comfort were a priority, this vehicle met those in addition to styling and handling. The vehicle has more than met all of my expectations.

Best car on gas and reliable

Great on gas . Good leg room for a smaller car . No trunk but ample amount of room in back. Seats fold down for more room , if needed.

too early to tell

we just got the Kia Niro Touring. It's too early to tell about its performance and reliability but right now we like driving it around near and far distance with all the nice features in it.

Elegant and Comfortable

After driving a 2007 Prius for 10 years, I have traded in Bubbles for a 2017 Kia Niro. Huge pluses for comfort, nearly infinitely variable front seat, elegantly appointed, safety-feature loaded small cross over hybrid. It is not a sports car, but it handles as well as my spouse's Mazda 6. It has a lively touch, stable in turns and generally lots of fun to drive. I read about this car more or less obsessively and it lives up to every compliment. Since it will be some time before I can attest to its reliability, I will pass on that aspect. It is also extremely economical and the Touring is quiet, minimizes road noise and is a delight to drive.

Niro Ex with tech package

This car replaced my VW TDI. It gets great gas mileage (better than EPA estimate) and is fun to drive.

NiroMinded

Sleek, shiny and stealth..... but! The car is cool looking and is fun to drive but the gadgets seem to work when they want to and the steering is DEFINITELY NOT rack and pinion! If you are looking for places to put all your stuff in, buy a full size pick up truck! On the good side, the car is three weeks old and has not needed gas yet.... YES, it has been driven! The car is so quiet that you think the engine is not running. Niro has been given a rating of 4.9 out of five. It's good, but not that good. It's beeter than a skateboard but it has nothing on Porscbe!
