I love this car. It looks great, drives efficiently and smooth - if i need a boost of power, i can jump to sport mode. Technology and compatibility with my iphone is fantastic. Very smart car. I got the standard interior b/c i'm fine with that but if you need a sleek leather feel, it's available for pretty cheap.

So glad I traded up

This is my second brand new car purchase and I am happy that I was able to purchase a hybrid with most of the bells and whistles. You never realize how much certain "extras" get used in a car until you don't have them for 5-6 years. I've only had it for a few days but this is by far the BEST car I have ever owned...or even driven for that matter.

Teaching Me How to be a Better Driver

I suddenly had to get a new car. I loved my old one (from a different manufacturer) and could have easily bought a new model from them....but, I wanted to investigate hybrids again before I pulled the trigger. The Niro is a solid feeling car. It hugs the road, unlike many of the similar-priced cars. It has lots of room, even in the backseat for passengers. I am short, husband is tall, and we both love driving this car! I drive around town for my job and live in a hilly area. By watching how I use my gas and braking power, I am realizing how much gas I used to use unnecessarily. My mileage is now getting close to the 50 mpg mark. The car is quiet and responsive and a pure pleasure to drive! It climbs steep hills nicely. I have all the bells and whistles and am so glad I got them! I am using my blinker more and the Niro tells me when a car is coming from either side, lets me know when I have strayed over lines and reminds me I need to park when I attempt to program maps manually! It is a very smart car! Apple Play displays maps and calendar on my phone. I am learning to talk to Siri to make calls, dictate messages and see where I go next. Again, I am much safer to be around on the road with the Niro! Have only had it a week, so can't talk about long term use. I can say I am very pleased with this car for comfort, safety and gas conservation.
