Only worth buying with incentives.

Great car for trips around the city. A blast to drive. Good range. Maneuvers really well in tight spaces. I’m 6’ 2” and there’s plenty of room in front and back seats. Easy to charge. Inexpensive to maintain. However, the bench seats are extremely uncomfortable. Back up beep is way too loud and annoying. Not worth the price unless there are substantial state and federal incentives.

Very loud backup warning system. Uncomfortable

The seats on this car are uncomfortable on longer trips for anyone that is not 150lbs. The seat bolsters dig into my back and cause immense pain. The car has a federally mandated pedestrian warning system, which requires the car to be audible at 56db. The pedestrian part is fine. The backup beeper on my car is a whopping 82db. Enough for my neighbors to complain to the HOA. We have a noise ordnance from 10pm to 6am. I leave for work at 5am. I have a winding driveway, so backing in during the day would be a challenge. So I am waiting to buy the car of lease in a few months so I can sell it. KIA will not do anything about it. I can unplug it, but that would be illegal. The cabin is very tight for a larger person. Coming from a KIA soul, this car seems smaller. The lane keeping assist is horrible and can never keep the car in the lane. The KIA remotes are terrible if you have other keys on it in your pocket. The other keys can press again the panic button and set off the horn. More thought needs to go into this car, but seeing KIA will be killing it off soon for their new platform, it is what it is. An average car with an extremely high price tag for an EV.

Best economy and quality from a lower price car.

We chose the entry level trim model. This vehicle has amazing fuel mileage and drives much better than you would expect at the price. Many of the features for this trim level are not offered on equivalent vehicles from other manufacturers.

At age 67 I never thought I'd own a EV

It is so inexpensive to operate this 2020 Kia Niro EV EX model! At 0.0619 per kw that I pay with my electric company, it cost me about $3.96 cents to get 239 mile range!

This is a very nice, long range EV, love it!

Perfect blend of modern and traditional SUV styling. Perfect road feel, driving comfort, acceleration, deceleration by regenerative braking and nice long range of over 250 miles. Just terrific!

First EV I've Owned and I'm Impressed!

It is a great example of how to make non-EV owners comfortable with their first experience with an EV. Basically a regular car that has had an electric motor and battery pack dropped in. Everything else is the same in terms of buttons and dials and screens.

A lot better ride than the 17 Niro just traded

The new Niro has a lot better ride, a lot more safety equipment, Nice leather seats with heat and air, also heated steering wheel and cool. Have the lane change safety, and a lot bigger screen for nav and etc. It will take a lot of time to get to use all the different insturment and control.

Love the Niro EV

It is like driving a computer... but handles better. My favorite part is the regen breaking. In addition to improving efficiency, it also helps maintain speed and control, especially going down a steep hill.

Best Hybrid

The Niro EV is so comfortable, plenty of room (both leg room and head room). It is lovely to drive especially on a long road trip! And the gas mileage is amazing!!
