2015 Kia Optima consumer reviews

This car is perfect for me. I'm under 5 ft and can comfortably reach everything. My son is 5'8" and has plenty of leg room. The trunk has an amazing amount of room. My heater works quickly, AC is the best I've ever had. Drives smoothly.

I like design. Quite reliable. Repairs are not that expensive. Used cars are cheap compared to Toyota or Honda. I would recommend Kia. They have improved a lot.

Got this to replace a 2008 Ford Escape which I loved but rusted out. This car has every bell and whistle that you could ask for. It is a 2015 Ex III and is white with the panoramic roof. It has more stuff on it than my 1999 Lincoln Navigator. I could not be happier. I have people all the time stop me in the Walmart lot and ask questions. The people that had it took excellent care and no one could tell it was 2 years old. It even has the spare tire that many Kia's don't. It has everything but the back up beeper which with the camera I am OK not needing. I do need to replace the battery this fall some time as I looked and it is the original from where it was made 12/3/2014. Brakes are original and everything from car fax shows only oil changes were done. So it has been someone else great car and now it is mine. Older couple needed a truck and i am glad I got it.

This is my first Kia ever. This car has all the bells and whistles and is so comfortable and smooth driving. I will probably never own any other brand again.

I had a 2015 Optima which I intended to keep for at least 10 years, and it got totaled in a accident in August 2020. And that car saved my life. A guy ran the light and I broadsided a heavy SUV at at least 40 MPH. 3 airbags deployed on me and I was able to walk away from the car with nothing but a small bruise on my forehead. Based on that, I bought a 2019 within 2 days, and this one has almost every safety feature going. In one respect, I'm glad I got the new one now. I have 5 safety features I didn't have before, and safety and value is the most important to me. But if all you can afford is an older Optima, you can't go wrong with this car. I had 55K on it and it never needed one repair ! You can spend 5K more for a midsized SUV, but if you don't need the room, why waste your money ?

I bought a 2015 optima and I am still paying for it but Clear coat is peeling off the bumper and kia except no responsibility for it and neither will friendly kia. I would think twice about purchasing a vehicle from them unless you like peeling paint on the front of your vehicle

This car far exceeds my expectations in comfort, roominess, handling and extras. I have been driving since 1977 when i obtained my first license at the age of 16. I have had many different makes n models of cars from a Pontiac TransAm to a Cadillac Sedan deVille and what I thought was my favorite car ever 2004 Chysler 300M until now. My 2015 Kia Optima EX is by far the best car i have ever purchased. Craftsmanship is unsurpassed. Sturdy and stable handling, performance and efficiency and luxury can't be beat in this price range.

The headrest pushes my neck forward making me feel like I have whiplash even after many attempts to adjust the seat !! Passenger seats sits very low to floor!!

I bought my LX brand new in September 2015 and I love it just as much today as when I first bought it. The ride is nice. The seats are reasonably comfortable. The dashboard and instrument panel is smart and user-friendly. It's really a pretty car. Sometimes I gaze out my window just to admire its looks. I average about 27 MPG due to mostly city driving. The acceleration is adequate for my needs. My only regret is that I didn't get a backup camera. I suggest if you get an Optima that you upgrade to the EX model for better seat fabric and the backup camera.
