This is my second version of the Kia optima, Although I would not recommend the base model all others I most certainly would. Reliable as well as comfortable vehicles

This car is great in the city I live in. Plenty of leg room. Trunk space is huge. Gas mileage is great in for everything.

I thoroughly researched new cars and came across a 2018 Kia Optima at a great price. It was too good to pass up. I found that it got very good ratings on all of the major auto rating websites, including Consumer Reports. I checked the car out at the dealership and was very pleasantly surprised. It's very well designed. I liked the style, the interior design, and the legroom, especially in the back seat. The 100,000 mile power train warranty sold me. Thus far, it only has about 1,500 miles, but I really like it. In mixed highway/city travel, it's averaging 29 MPG. It seems to be very well constructed, and I think it'll be trouble free well beyond 100,000 miles. Kia offers a lot more value for the money than competitors.

The car is newer than I anticipated buying but I am so happy with the performance of car. Inside is comfortable and very roomy. Love all the bells and whistles. First car I've owned with Bluetooth and a back up camera. Woohoo!

For the money this vehicle has the style of a BMW and a high quality ride and features. Very affordable price and very good looking vehicle.

I brought a 2018 Kia Optima used and now I am finding that the engine is running extremely loud and while stopped at a light my car made a few loud sounds and shut dow. After trying to restart the car three times it came back on. I drove my car to dealer where I purchased the car. After waiting for a few hours I was told they could find nothing wrong with my vehicle. They hooked it up, whatever that means, and everything came back with no problems. I then stated, "well the car shut off for a reason". I was told again that they found nothing wrong. I was also told that if it happens again to bring it back. Meanwhile the car is still running very loud, white smoke is coming from the exhaust and it still makes the noise as if it's going to shut off. Never again will a buy a Kia. NEVER

I love the look and feel of this car. I hate the way it drives. When it is downshifting it jerks the devil out of you and it feels like you have slammed on your brakes. My mechanic says its normal- note I take my car to kia to be serviced. Therefore, either my mechanic is incompetent​ or my kia is a xxx.
