Still hard to believe how good this car is!

We started shopping for a new 3 row SUV about a month ago to replace our well aged 2008 GM SUV. We are unlike most people these days in that we typically drive a car 10 years or so. In researching all the new offerings, the the name that kept showing up near the top of the all the was the Sorento. Being they are built in nearby West Point, GA we decide to check them out. After driving one, we were blown away at how quiet, smooth, and powerful the V6 is and how well built the car was. When we test drive vehicles, I don’t do the obligatory “take it around the block” like the car salesmen try to get me to do. I take the car out on the highway, in town, and I try to find old pavement somewhere along the way. I always reset the MPG counter and the car like we will be driving it. After driving numerous different makes and models, the Sorento was up there with the best of them in driving pleasure and was at the top in MPG. The 8 speed transmission is so smooth and seamless and the 290HP V6 is plenty peppy, especially considering the Sorento is 500-600 lbs lighter than a lot of the other 3 row SUV’s we drove. If we still had kids in car seats and was carrying around strollers, baby bags, pack n plays, etc. we’d probably miss the cargo space in the older Acadia/Traverse/Enclave platform we had, but the space ample for us now. The infotainment system is well laid out and very simple to use. We like how all of the buttons for safety, drive mode, A/C, and Entertainment are all grouped together instead being all scattered about. The interior is very nice and comfortable and I like simplistic, yet stylish look with the black woodgrain accents. So far, we’ve been totally satisfied with it, and will the excellent 10 year, 100 mile warranty we feel good about it for many years to come. Getting all of this for thousands of dollars less than some of the others is just icing on top!

Very nice for the price

The Sorento looks great outside and inside with many extra's for the price. The ride is very comfortable and quiet. The only downside is that it's a little more for auto insurance.

The very best value and luxury in a midsize suv

JD Power awarded the 2017 & 2018 Sorento best in initial quality for all midsize suv's. And yes......even better than Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Chevy, Mazda, etc., etc. I would imagine they'll win the award for 2019 too. This 2019 I bought has a fit and finish that compares to a German luxury SUV. Also, with the best bumper to bumper and powertrain warranty in the industry, It can't be beat!

I prefer the Sorento to the F150 and Edge

Last month, I acquired my fourth Kia in three years. We have the Soul, Sportage, and 2nd Sorento. Indeed I just traded my 2018 F150 for the second EX 3.3L V6 Sorento, seven passenger. The EX 3.3L V6 has the same 5K lb tow capacity as the 3.3L F150. The major difference is that the F150 dropped to 12 mpg with a headwind. The Sorento should do much better. The real reason for the new Sorento is the value added safety technology. The 7″ rear camera with rear pedestrian warning, the automatic slow down on cruise control, the lane shift warning, and the vehicle next to you warning, and the auto lane correction features are amazing. The ride is very good, handling is excellent, and power is much improved over the 2.4L. Did I also mention that the price was $10k less than the Ford Edge??? Great value, superior performance, and made in the USA!!!!

I like the 5 year 50,000 warranty.

We bought my wife one last year and I liked it so much we bought one for myself!! My wife had a 2007 KIA Sedona and drove it for 10 years and was still in great shape when we traded it!!

Great car, great price

We were looking for a 3rd row seat SUV in our price range. Couldn't believe we found a 2019 for that price. The safety features are huge.

Most comfortable car and smartest

I love how easy it is to drive and that it has 3rd row seating. The only thing that is a little inconvenient is I have to connect to talk thru Bluetooth.
