1st Kia Soul Base

Plenty of room in hatchback area, carry my Fire Police equipment, medical bag and still have room. At 6 feet tall plenty of head and leg room. Comfortable ride, the 5 speed transmission shifts great, the stereo is good, use the satellite radio the most. It is the base model and I do miss the cruise control, but am still averaging 36 mpg. Definitely would buy another Kia Soul.

My favorite car

I never did anything to it but normal maintenance. It was an amazing car. It was reliable and great on gas. The only thing I would say improve would be the comfort. It wasn’t a comfortable road trip car.

Great car for tall people

This car is easy to get into for tall people...hooray! Easy to drive and park. Cargo area is noticeably small so that has to be okay for you. Lots of great features.

Most comfortable car I’ve owned

Purchased car with 30k before trading it in at 165k. Car was great for road trips, made it from El Paso to Charleston. Vehicle had a quiet cab, great sound system, plenty of trunk space, decent gas mileage. Sluggish on the acceleration though. But overall 8.5/10

Kia Soul

So far I am really falling in love with it. My only concern is it's too low geared. I bought a manual transmission and I feel it could use a 6th gear.

Great reliable city car

Great on gas mileage (about 32 avg), easy to park in NYC due to its short overall lenght. and a great utility vehicle for it's size. I have the 5 speed manual and wish it had one more gear due to the high revs at highway speed, although it's fun to drive a stick (Except in heavy traffic). It's a bit loud on the highway, but not to the annoying level. I've replaced 2 coils, sparkplugs, starter, tires, and a clunking stabilizer bar so far at 120,000 miles. Overall, I happy with my purchase.

Soul Perfect For Tall Person

The Soul Really surprised me the with how much room it had. I am 6'5" tall and I did not feel cramped. It is a real joy to drive. It is even comfortable for me on a long trips despite the short wheel base. I wish the gas mileage was better. I average about 27mpg for all around driving and 30 on the highway. I have the Soul ! which has the 18" wheels and the premium sound system and sun roof. Nice little big car!!!!

Love my Kia Soul

I absolutely love this vehicle. Just took it on a road trip and loved every trip of it. My kids enjoy the spacious back seats. The speakers are great and we love the color changing effect around them. It?s just an all around great car.

Worth the price

It?s not the best car but price for the size is worth it. Great amount of space for storing stuff. Suspension could be better, and The USB port doesn?t work with my iPhone X
