Surprisingly comfortable

At first I was doubtful of the car, but after driving it, the ride was smooth and the seats were soft. I sat a little higher, like a small suv but handled like a small car. Good overall.

Fun and fuel efficient!

This Kia Soul was my first car. My younger self named her "Soul-ina Gomez". I did a lot of research before I bought it, so I knew for sure it was going to be a great investment. It's excellent for driving around town, and long distances. Thanks to a fuel saving feature, I get 30 mpg in the city and 38-ish on the highway. There was an issue with the gear shift a few years ago, but the dealership fixed it very quickly. That was the only issue I ever had with the car since I bought it in 2012. The color changing lights around the speakers is probably the coolest feature! This car has been so reliable over the years. And when the time comes, I'll probably get another Kia Soul. It's a great car for anyone who does a lot of driving.

Saved my life as I was in a severe accident .

In 2013 because of the safety of this car I survived a bad accident with a truck. I was hit on the drivers side where I sat.

Sporty Fun

5 speed manual feels like "sport" with great fuel savings. Unfortunately it is also "bouncier" and louder because it is a sport light duty truck.

Really great car

We love the Soul. It is snappy on take off, has great acceleration when passing on the highway, good in the mountains, heater is great in winter and air in summer; great value for the money. Drives like a sportscar.

best car i have ever owned...

i traded this for a nissan xterra. i regret it. it was the most fuel efficient and reliable car i have ever owned. only problem is they are no good for long drives in the snow to and from work. or backing out of a driveway in town after they plow in the winter. i had a 6 speed manual transmission. but did not have the light up speakers (i wanted them so bad) i got it with 4k miles and traded it with 60k miles. over all the best car i ever had. they are fun, reliable, very easy to find they just dont keep the value as they are so common.

It was good in conditions that did not involve ice

For the most part it was good except for the way it handeled in the snow and ice. Also wore quickly on the tread of the tires. Other than that I was satisfied with it.
