PERFECT !!! I LOVE IT!
Yes, I gave this vehicle 5 stars all the way. It is a terrific price, easy handling, driver sits up high enough that view is not blocked when a SUV pulls along side, pin point turning radius, plenty of storage/hauling room, and small enough to park anywhere. The bright red color is so cute, too. May daughter has the 2010 Alien Green Kia Soul + and loves her's as much as I love my 2012 Molten Red Kia Soul +. This vehicle is a Perfect vehicle in both years !!

Kia Soul 2012 Exclaim with Homelink vs Civic EX-L
I have been a Honda buyer for 30 years. So you can imagine the level of trepidation I had about buying a Kia. However, so far I have been quite delighted with the Kia Soul 2012 Exclaim with Navigation that I bought for my daughter. The 5 year warranty on most things, plus the level of additional equipment I got compared to a Honda Civic EXL with navigation was enormous. I had to pay MSRP because these cars were in such short supply. But even at MSRP, the on-the-road price of the Soul Exclaim was the same as the Civic EX-L with navigation and the Soul had a rear view camera, Homelink with compass and privacy glass which the Civic simply did not have. The major issue I had with the Soul is that I coud not use my standard Apple USB iPhone cord to charge my iphone. You have to buy a special cable from Kia for this. Also, unlike the Civic, the Soul does NOT display the iPhone Music menu (playlists, songs, albums, etc.) on the navigation screen. I have to manage this from my iPhone itself. Additionally the Soul: a) DOES NOT have an Audible Low Fuel Indicator Beep like the Civic. You have to visually keep your eye on the dash board to see the Low Fuel Indicator light come on b) Does NOT have a vehicle security system that the Civic EX-L comes with as standard c) COMES with much larger and BETTER tires than the Civic or CR-V. My 2010 CRV-EX-L's tires wore out in less than 36,000 miles. Appears Honda is simply not what they used to be though I still love the way they drive versus the Soul. d) has SAME or BETTER crash test and safety scores than the Civic e) The Honda engine and driveabilty at any speed is still unbeatable by the Soul. But the Soul drives very well and is definitely better value for the money

Great car for the $$!
I bought this car for my daughter's high school graduation present as she will be departing for college this fall and her car that she got when she turned 16 now had 220,000 miles and was older than her! We both really like the car styling, driveability, and gas mileage! The only thing I DIDN'T like was the fact there was no armrest or consold to rest right arm on when driving!

The Kia's got Soul
Bought two months ago and no buyer's remorse! Did a lot of research and only seriously considered a couple of models based on price (low) and preferences (4 doors, hatchback). Likes: Power - upper trim levels have 164hp Value - great features for the money Versatility - easy to drop seats; good storage Gripes: Mileage - not quite as indicated, but okay Interior color - black only (lower two trims) Biggest carp: NO SPARE TIRE -- that's right, you get a 12v compressor and a can of fix-a-flat; I chose to purchase from the dealer a spare tire kit that Kia offers, but it will set you back at least $200 or so

Love It So Far!!
I've had my new 2012 Soul+ for a month now and love it more each day. It's so easy to get in and out of (I have a bad back) and zips in and out of urben traffic very nicely. I would have given it 5 stars for comfort except for lack of arm rests. The sound system is great and I'm loving the built in bluetooth. I've been holding at 29 MPG so far but haven't really had out on the highway yet. I'd definitely recommend one!!

BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ENGINES! Check out this mpg
Purchased as my first new vehicle! I should mention that when test driving there is a HUGE difference between the engine sizes and the feel of the vehicle. I noticed activating the Active Eco decreased the torque and with the smaller engine it was a dramatic difference. I know now how Fred Flintstone felt moving his car from a stop. I opted for the larger engine and I am SO PLEASED. Even activating the Active Eco doesn't seem to phase the performance of the vehicle, except at high speed in VERY steep inclines... but that should be expected. When driving between 45-55 mph on cruise I've had 43.5 mpg. Yes, I have photos too... I didn't believe it myself. The feature in the exclaim model that stopped and started the engine when the vehicle was not in motion, while inventive as a gas saving feature seemed questionable. Only con: no arm rests (save $800 for replacements, the extra $5k for the model w/ arm rests is not worth it)

Nice little car
We like the Kia soul. We are a little disappointed in the gas mileage, it is rated 26 city to 34 Hwy but the best we have been able to obtain is 29MPG, have not seen 30 yet. It is a car that is worth what you pay for. Inexpensive to purchase and to operate. We like it for the purpose that we bought it for.

I love my 2012 Kia Soul
I bought a new 2012 Soul base automatic in September. BRIGHT SILVER. I Love it! Was going to settle for the base manual but once I drove automatic base I fell in love. Its not over loaded but just loaded enough. Cruise, sportsmatic, side blinkers, bluetooth, steering wheel controls and ECO. etc This is my fourth Kia so happy with KIA. All their cars are great! I have 16,000 miles on it. looking forward to many more. Getting 30+ mpg easily with city/highway combined.
