So far so good!

This small SUV is excellent in almost all departments except for gas mileage. It is very disappointing when it comes to it's horrible gas mileage in the AWD model. Other than that it has all the bells and whistles that you would want in a new car. The EX model is all you need when it comes to luxury and amenities.

Powerful engine. Very reliable.

This car met all my needs. Spacious legroom. Spacious cargo room. Great a/c. Power seats with cooling and heating. Heated steering wheel. Great stereo with touchscreen navigation.

Cute, sporty and fun!

This is my first KIA and I love it. Its a fun SUV to drive. Its safe with all its safety features. Great performance. Maybe not the best in gas, but good. Sleek, sporty. the trunk could be a little more bigger, but works for me. I will most likely get another KIA again.

Nicest ride for the money.

It is very stylish. Has front and rear 12v. Plugs. Has a lot of leg room. Nice two tone interior. Very comfortable ride. Just the right size for our family.

Most fun and first SUV

I am 64 and feel as safe as I ever have in a vehicle. Not too complicated, but lots of extras for traveling, and small enough to be perfect for errands. Great gas mileage and meets my expectations.

Perfect for the job, and travel with the kids

Well I bought it for my wife, it's perfect for her, had a lot of space and it's really smooth to drive, the sound system could be better.

Keep Looking!

This SUV has a nice interior. Wish there were more compartments to put necessary items, such as coins, cell phone, trash bag, etc... The glove compartment does not lock so there is no safe place in the car to store your valuables when going to an event where they are not needed. The exterior is all right, looks just like every other SV out there, especially if you were so fortunate to add the luggage rack on top. As far as drive ability, the performance is poor - the Sportage barely accelerates unless in "Sport" mode, which only adds to your already poor gas mileage. Also, the steering is horrendous! I fight the steering wheel constantly just to keep it on the road properly. The salesperson told me this was because of the new electric steering vs. power steering. He said I would just have to "get used to it". Again, I was directed to place the vehicle in "Sport" mode to correct the steering. I did this for three days to test the difference. There was no difference in the steering but my vehicle did use excessive gas while in this Sport Mode. The SUV seems quite heavy. At the speed of 70mph, as soon as you release your foot from the gas pedal, the car slows to 50 in a few seconds. Then, it takes quite awhile to accelerate back to previous speed unless you want to "gun" the engine and have it scream as you get back to 70 The ride is bumpy and it is difficult to see cars approaching from behind. It was highly suggested I order the extra package which included the blind spot warning lights on each mirror. Maybe I should have taken the dealer up on that added cost. :( I have owned Honda CRV's and a Subaru Forester. This Sportage does not come close to either in any area except the interior seats, which are very nice in the Sportage. That being said, I am very disappointed in this new vehicle and will not purchase another KIA.

Love all the bells and whistles and sporty style

I love this car! It has tons of extras! Love the seats, the look, the display screen and lots more! The people that created the Kia Sportage thought of everything!
