From the day I purchased my 2020 Sportage LX it has been giving me problems. I have replaced the CVVT all out of pocket $2600, then another problem $650, radiator replacement $450, it still burns oil like water after the $2600 CVVT replacement. I'm adding oil every week from a quart to 1.5 qts. That unacceptable they needed to recall ALL these 2020 Sportage's and put a new engine in them because what's in then now ain't cutting it. I wouldn't recommend a Kia ( Sportage ) to anyone. They are over- rated, there engines are really, really, bad. It has an overall personal rating that it us the biggest pile of xxxxt I've ever owned. The interior reminds Mr of a chevy. Absolutely nothing to be excited about. Nothing . No leather in the LX. It is a base level with nothing fancy about it. Not even auto seats fro driver and front passenger. I'm so sick of that having to reach way down under to move the seat back. Wife is 4'11 on a good day so she to have an xxx jack to lift her up and she moves the seat way up to reach pedals. I get it and bang !! I hit my head , my knees got jammed and stuck under steering wheel, I can't get back out or reach the lever to move seat back. I misnomer screwed. My wife has had to come help me as I was stuck in it more than once. My knees been replaced already and I'm fat so that doesn't help matters at all. I was literally my own worst enemy. Thank God my wife was watching me leave and came to my rescue. With that I don't recommend the sportage to anyone, it's an oil burner big time, engine problems all the time, base and LX models are so lame just like chevy's. I give it no stars.

Engine guzzles oil like it’s gas.
Engine guzzles oil like it’s gas. Buyer be aware! Only drove 40k miles and the vehicle consumes oil. I’ll never buy another Kia or Hyundai. Terrible cars do your research!!!

BEST SMALL SUV EVER!!
First off I would like to say that I am a huge car enthusiast who has owned many different cars in my 60 plus years. My most recent cars have been a 2017 Honda Pilot, 2022 Honda CRV and 2023 Toyota Highlander. The Pilot was nice but the CVT transmission drove me nuts with the way it jerked and shifted. The 2022 CRV was also nice but the electronics and bluetooth connectivity were SOOO bad!! The FWD Highlander with new turbo engine was a huge disappointment. I felt unsafe on curvy two lane roads.....like it didn't feel like it was gripping the road properly. It also had terrible turbo lag that was highly frustrating and dangerous feeling. When I would push it hard to get it going, it would almost skid out once it got going. The wireless apple CarPlay was its best feature but generally speaking the electronics were a nightmare and required a subscription to work best. You had to push multiple things to get to your radio and it was all so poorly designed. I had been having severe buyer remorse with the Highlander and started looking again. I drove a RAV4 and it was too underpowered and buzzy for my liking. Also drove a new Mazda CX-50 but was having a hard time spending the dollars on another new car since I would be losing on the Highlander trade. Long story short, we purchased a 2019 Kia Sportage EX for my college aged daughter in 2021. It was affordable, had good reviews and a longer warranty than everything else. She has loved it!! Turns out we have not needed the warranty even one time in these past two years. Only simple oil changes and tire rotations. She's away this summer so my husband and I have been driving her car periodically. During these drives, I decided I like her car so much, that I traded my Highlander for a certified pre-owned 2020 Sportage SX Turbo! I am SOOO thrilled with my decision!! The build is heavy and solid, visibility is incredible and driving it is SO much FUN! Feels like you're driving a Mercedes or BMW but at an extremely affordable price. The controls are so simple that I've not consulted the manual more than a couple of times. Everything has its own button and, although the car is loaded to the brim with every option you can imagine, it's all so easy to navigate and use. Kia made a winner here and I hope they continue on this path of using quality materials and easy to navigate electronics. If so I will be a loyal Kia fan forever!!

Stealing Kia
My car has been broken into twice. Now recently stolen. If I knew what I know now about this car I would have never bought it. Now I have to pay out of pocket to fix because I have cancer not working and have a broke piece of xxxx that people feel free to steal! I even had a club on it! Lori

My choice SUV
This vehicle runs and handles beautifully. Easy to maneuver the engine runs smooth and great on fuel .. Find looking as well . if you are looking for a medium SUV this one is just right . I usually have a hard time climbing into the average SUV but as a female I found it to be easy to hop in and out . Great vehicle ..

Finally got my KIA SUV!
I started with a 2010 KIA Forte and absolutely loved it. I now have a 2020 KIA Sportage and love this as well. The quality and performance of the KIA far outweighs any cars I previously owned; especially the warranty. I love the all wheel drive. The fact it seats 5 comfortably is perfect for me, and the back seat folds down for extra storage. The sportage is a very smart looking vehicle as well as functional. It is very easy to drive and just the right size. You can't go wrong with a KIA.
