2004 Lexus IS 300 consumer reviews

I've owned many expensive high performance cars, but my 2004 Lexus SportCross IS300 is a keeper. It feels like a perfect car for autocrossing or just going for groceries. It handles very nice and I love the high reliability factor. The price of these today, are going up to their original selling price. If you find one . . . grab it.

Such a smooth and very quick car. I know I'm passing people at seemingly warp speed like a jet. It's compact and incredibly fun to drive!

Ive owned this car for 14 years and everything is still working! The styling is timeless and it is built to last. I have a 2018 Honda and the Lexus is still built better

Very stable when cornering. Instant acceleration from 0 to 30. Faster off the line than most because of the manual transmission. Also much easier to moderate speed on the freeway. Great braking and stop distance at any speed. Extremely reliable car for the 14 years I owned it. I would still have it if someone hadn't hit me and totaled it. Still looking for an adequate replacement in the sub $40k range.

This car got me through college, three deployments, marriage, two home purchases, and more memories than I can count. Has been worth every penny that I paid for it and would recommend it to anyone. The 5 speed manual transmission is rare to find but I can't imagine having had it any other way. If a real car enthusiast wanted to you could lower the compression and slap a turbo on it. Same block as the infamous 2JZ-GTE in the Toyota Supras.

Amazing. The 2JZ is one of the best motors Toyota has ever made. The car is fast and just all around fun to drjve.

Compact and fun to drive, I love this car as my daily driver. The sport cross edition's suspension is a little bit hard; you can feel every bump on the road; which was not what I expected from a luxury brand. But overall this car has great value, low maintenance, and high reliability.

This is the best car I've owned by far. I was replacing a Honda Accord and it has surpassed the Honda in all areas, including dependability. The ride is smooth for a sport sedan. Maneuverability is excellent. It fits into tight parking spaces. The only problem I have had is with the oxygen sensors. I had to replace 3 of the 4 since I've owned the car. Overall, the car is trouble free and overs superior dependability, styling, handling and a sporty driving experience.
