Awesome vehical

Bought it at auction 2007. Had many problems but still preformed beautifully. Only problems are finding parts. Lexus will not tell you if Toyota parts are interchangeable. Most salvage yards have a pretty good idea. Was able to find hoses at a salvage yard, (Pick & Pull San Antonio). Check there for parts before dealer pokes your eyes out. "O" rings and Gromets for fuel injector are available through Toyota Dealers for 1/2 the price of Lexus Dealers, (no interchange manual availiable).

Best car on the road

I bought my LS400 with 1,265 miles on it. It now has over 400,000 miles. It still runs great and looks good ! The only problems with the car were the water pump wore out, CD player stopped working, and air conditioning/heater blower motor stopped working. This is a well built car.

It's a Lexus

It is an extremely reliable car. The traction control system is not perfect but it was designed sometimes 1990s. The sound system's volume knob is making a little noise when rotated, however it mey be because of the previous owner. It has a pleasant ride, has enough power and torque when required, the ABS is working well. The seats, undfortunately, are not sporty (it's a limousine) so in (some) curves you are pushed almost over the seat when driving sporty. Overall, I would strongly recommend this car.
