2002 Lexus RX 300 consumer reviews

My lexus is 95000 mi when I got it, and now it's 109000 I was 2000 over for oil change , and one day I heard the engine vibrating my mechanice said the is shot! This is only happens once , I kept my oil change very seriously, and now that I didn't realized and was going to oil change and it die??? I'm sorry..

Purchase used with 48,000 miles. I now have 105,000 and it has not skipped a beat. I change the oil regularly ( do it myself) as the only downside to this engine is sludge. Change the oil regularly and you are looking at 300,000 with no problem whatsoever

Absolutely the WORST experience I’ve ever had. This place sold me a car for $5,000. The first day I received my car the Abs, Check engine & VSC light was on. Matt told me it was due to “ cold weather ” and it’ll come off in a few days. I brought it into a auto shop THE NEXT DAY to get a check up, and it cost $3,000 to get a “few” repairs done. A week later, my car broke down on the middle of the highway. A rod went completely through the engine. It’s gonna cost me $5000+ to get a new engine. That’s $13,000+. I’ve tried contacting this shop and Matt & Adam told me they would help but, they won’t return my calls. Matt actually told me to stop calling and to text him only. Now no one responds to my text. If I could give this scam a 0 rating, I would. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME/MONEY.

This is my third Lexus, my second RX. I've kept each RX until 200,000 miles. Very dependable, comfortable for in town or trips. Great for transporting cargo, too. Lexus builds with the finest materials, and even at 16 years old, friends can't believe its age. Highly recommended.

This car is extremely reliable, and a joy to own. We borrowed our daughter's for 2 years, and later came back to buy a used one as well. We like the way it feels solid, like a luxury car should.
