Fantastic reliable car at unbeatable value
These cars are an amazing value. Quite simply many people hate the styling. Hence a low price. Nothing I write matters on this. You like it or don’t or put up with it for the value. The interior is simply stunning. Other than a Bentley I had no other car I’ve seen is nicer inside. Quality materials. Nice leather. Stunning real wood. And unlike anything else a way to cover the nav screen with a wood door. Stereo is excellent. Ride quality is fantastic for long trips. No. Not a super fast car in corners. Fast enough and very comfortable. Engine is silky smooth and whisper quiet. Except when you floor it you get that v8 growl. Again not a dragster but plenty powerful enough. The roof is magic. A hardtop coupe most of the time but a fantastic open top with minimal buffeting. Reliable. Very reliable. Excellent Lexus service if needed. Our 2004 has merely 60k miles and zero repairs. Many of these are low miles. Toyota reliability is a great comfort. Big and heavy and safe. Plenty of airbags and great brakes. Mass is safer than lighter cars. Do the negative? It is not easy on gas. Styling is either love or hate. Navigation system cannot be updated and CarPlay is not available although there are kits to add it including nav music and phone. So the electronic toys are dated. To give you an idea my new car is a Porsche 911. Modern. But on long trips or just getting from A to Z the Lexus is first choice. Porsche is more modern and exciting but … not as beautiful inside nor comfortable. I totally recommend this if the styling and gas mileage and electronics are not an issue. The value is unbelievable and unbeatable.

A beautiful big Surprise
We were looking for a Lexus Sedan for my wife, and I wanted a more sporty vehicle. In the past I’ve had Vettes and several 380Z’s, as I aged it was not as easy to get into and out of. So we never had heard of the LexusSC until the salesman at the dealership said I think I have the perfect car for you. He said I think you’ll love the LexusSC we got in a week ago. A 2004 convertible with 32,000 miles. Silver with a black interior. That peaked our interest and we drove it. We fell in love. A silver Beauty with a retractable electric convertible top. Sold! We’ll have this one for a long time. We’re both in our 80’s so who knows how long we’ll be around to enjoy this little honey of an auto. We’ll do our best.

Sexy Lexy
I love driving this car! It may be an older vehicle, but feels solid and reliable. You can enjoy a well insulated coupe, or drop the top for open air driving! Mine is "fun" car, so I do not drive it in winters or bad weather. I plan to keep this beast forever. The only real downsides are the cupholders and back seats are basically useless!! If you can find a nice example of an SC430.....get it while you can! This car is not a true "sports" car, but it was also not intended to be. I think that is why some people wrote this car off because it's big and heavy, so not the greatest cornering machine. If you want a comfortable and reliable convertible, then look no further. I am still blown away at how solid this car is after nearly 20 years. I like knowing that even when I'm older, I should still be able to drive this car comfortably since it rides reasonably smooth for a car this low to the ground. Try driving a corvette or something like that and I bet the suspension will cause some discomfort in your older years. If you do not plan on driving the SC430 year round, then I suggest getting a trickle charger (for winter) because the battery will die....I know from experience!

A really FUN CAR!!
I bought this car used six years ago and I LOVE it! It's Sporty....Fast...Very STYLISH as i get comments all the time. Lexus quit making the SC430 eleven years ago and I believe they made a mistake as everyone always comments about this car and it's Azure Blue Color. It is a Pebble Beach Edition of which only 400 were made of that color.

BENTLEY was in their crosshairs!
When you sit behind the wheel, you're immediately impressed by the luxuriousness of the MASSIVE amounts of fine leather and beautiful wood trim ( mine is saddle with walnut!) The fit and finish is the finest I've seen and I've been in the auto business for 41+ years. Everything works, and one get's the impression that it will function perfectly forever. These are the cars that become collector items, and it should because it IS the first convertible ever manufactured by Lexus. Buy one, hold onto it, and your heirs will have a nice surprise at Barret-Jackson!

extremely fun to drive
Purchased my 2004 SC430 about a year ago. 200,000 miles and drives and looks new. Top down fun. Great roadster. Will be looking for another when this one goes to its great reward.

Best car I have ever owned!
I bought this car new. I have had it for 16 years. I have never had any trouble with it. It still drives like the day I bought it. The wood inside is beautiful and you cannot find wood like it on any new car today. It can be a convertible and it plays CDs and tapes. No new car today does that. It has a big 300 horsepower V8 engine. The leather is soft like butter. My car is green with a light brown saddle interior. I plan to keep it forever.

Loved power to accelerate. It's a smooth ride.
The vehicle is more of a want than a need so I have to wait longer before I can purchase it. I think it is a good deal and worth the cost. It is used and an older model but drove better than some newer model cars I test drove.

Reliable, comfortable & enjoyable to drive
I still smile every time I drive it. Whether it's an evening drive in the country with the top down, or a 200+ mile drive, I am refreshed and invigorated during and after each trip.

Lexus SC430
I've had this Vintage, 2004, Lexus SC430 Pebble Beach edition now for over 4 years and I LOVE it! It was a Condo car here in Florida and it only had 58K miles on it when i bought it. It now, June 18,2019, have 66K miles on it and it drives just FANTASTIC!! I love when people give me a thumb's up when the Hard Top is down and I also LOVE it when people THINK it's SLOW!! It has the 300HP engine and it's FAST!!
