Great car that holds its value
I have 2, and they are fantastic. They are look great w top up and fantastic w top down. The engine is just about bulletproof when maintained. You may get a bmw or mercedes convertible to 250k miles, but you will spend a fortune on repairs getting there! Not w a lexus.. I bought one of mine in 2017 for 19k and its worth 19k or more today.. Those topgear fools are out of their minds!

A BEAUTIFULLY APPOINTED AND DESIGNED CONVERTIBLE
I had owned two of these cars. They are without a doubt the best built, most reliable convertible you can buy for the money. Lexus poured a lot of thought and effort into this car which, when first sold in 2001, was state of the art with voice activated navigation, Mark Levinson stereo, beautifully designed retractable top, luxurious interior and a very responsive 32 valve 288 hp V-8. Ignore the reviewer who refers you to the "Worst Car Ever Made" joke of a review.

One of the easiest cars to work on!
I had this car for about 4 years before someone totaled it in an accident. I had no real issues with it and it's V8 engine drove beautifully when going at high speeds. I always received compliments on this car. I had no complaints and am looking to purchase another one.

Amazing quality
This car (2007 pebble beach edition) is a joy to drive. I constantly receive compliments on it's appearance. Reliability/servicing is a major plus especially compared to prior Mercedes and BMWs I have owned. I appreciate the "perfectionist" qualities of the build. I expect to have this car for a long time. The interior is beautifully appointed; the quietest convertible on the planet!!

Pleased Owner
My 2010 SC 430 is my 2nd SC 430 and I love it. It would have earned 5 star all the way across if it wasn't pricey. Interesting that the previous review did not mention owning or even driving the SC. Just quoting a british car program. My 2010 was only one of 329 built by Lexus and I consider myself very lucky!

VERY VERY BAD!
Top Gear UK unanimously voted this the Worst Car in the History of the World. See details of this special episode at bbcamerica.com/top-gear/. I would never recommend this car to ANYONE. Ever.
